Sunday Night....

Good Sunday evening!

My last load of laundry is in the dryer, and the house looks like someone cares again.  I lightly dusted and spot mopped.  Joe swiped at the bathrooms.  It will do for another week!

I made a pork roast in the crockpot for our dinner, along with mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy, and a nice big green salad with tomatoes.  It was good, and will be good again tomorrow night!  Love those leftovers!

We started watching the neighbors' cats tonight.  They seemed happy to see us.  I need to get out of bed 15-20 minutes earlier this week, so I can go next door to give them breakfast before I go to work.  They are good cats, Murphy and Millie.  We have to watch for packages being delivered - Bob & Ginny ordered some Christmas gifts.  Their front door isn't visible from our yard and we go in through their garage, so will need to remember to walk around front to check for deliveries.

I really have nothing else to report.  It's just been a busy kind of day... I did a little mending, and worked on my gift projects.  Talked to my cousin on the phone today.  They are coming down for a Disney vacation after Christmas.  Can't wait to see them.  It's been almost two years since we connected with them.

Wishing you all a good week!  Peace, love & hugs!

  3. That sounds like such a good dinner. It will be nice to start eating real meals again after eating restaurant or fast food for a few days. Sounds like you've a busy week ahead.

  4. Your dinner sounds good. Love those large salads. After the kitties see only you for a couple days, they will wonder where's my mommy and daddy? :) I used to do that for a neighbor. Her cat was a huge one, big as a dog, and it got where he'd be waiting at the door for me. I'd get a little edgy wondering if he'd attack me for being a little late. You have a great day.
