Tuesday evening....

I am watching Dancing With The Stars.  The finals begin next week, so there are two eliminations tonight.  So far Apollo is gone.  Not surprised.  This has been a good season, though, with former champions competing.

Had a good day at work today, getting caught up on things that have slipped under the pile (so to speak).  It will be very quiet tomorrow.  I think more than half the staff have the day off, including the boss.  It will be good to finish a few more projects, hopefully!

Joe verified our reservations for Thanksgiving dinner at Eaglebrook Country Club.  I'm looking forward to it, though would much rather be cooking dinner for a whole bunch of family.

Well, Emmit and Cheryl were just eliminated.  I predicted yesterday (on FB) that the boys would be gone!  It will be a good finals show next week.

I don't even have a photo to share tonight, but I sure hope my friends who are traveling during the holiday, do so safely.  Those staying at home...I wish you a blessed day!

Have a good Wednesday!  Peace, love & hugs.

  1. Hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving meal. I agree that I'd much rather celebrate it at home. I booked my birthday dinner on the internet, and if we order a frst and second course or main course and dessert, we get a 40 per cent discount.

  2. It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is only one day away! I have today off from work and I am going to take advantage of it. Lots left to do yet! So who is left for the DWTS final? Is Kirstie Alley still left?

    1. No, Kris. Kirstie went last week. It's Shawn, Kelly, and Melissa. A battle for the trophy between the girls.

  3. We had church last night and the Lord's Supper instead of Wed., so didnt see much tv. As everyone else cooks and brings it here, I get to enjoy the food and the family. I know most women take pride in cooking for their family, but I am the exception! lol Plus they are all better cooks than me. Happy last work day, and a very Happy Thanksgiving to my friend. Hugs

    1. Linda, if everyone was bringing the food to me, I would be happy to let them do all the work. I do enjoy cooking for family and friends, though. I just have trouble cooking for the two of us. Seems like too much trouble for two! LOL

  4. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Terri. And I'm with you - I'd rather be cooking for a houseful of family, but the kids are scattered across the country and not coming home this year.

    Enjoy your day!

    1. There are more than a few of us, Judy, who have kids and family spread out all over. Our two boys don't have space for company, so we can't go to them, and they are so busy with careers that we only see them once or twice a year, down here. It's sad when I think about how it used to be, but those days are gone and we are blessed that the boys have good jobs and are productive members of society!!
