Thank Goodness It's Friday!....

Even having had a short week, this week, I am happy it's Friday.  I do SO look forward to not turning on the alarm clock.  A bonus this weekend is the extra hour we get!  Hooray!!  Don't forget to set your clocks back an hour!

We don't have any special plans for this weekend.  I thought we might ask our friends, Al and Helen, if they want to come to dinner after church tomorrow night.  We haven't had them over for awhile.  I think I'll call later and see if they want to do that.  Helen usually goes to church with us, if we have plans for after.  She is Methodist, and doesn't usually attend Mass, but does once in awhile.

I have ironing to do, and the usual cleaning and laundry - that never ends.  And that leads me to:

I am so very thankful for my home, which gets dirty and needs to be cleaned.  I am thankful that I have clothes to wear, that also get dirty and need to be laundered, as well as shoes for my feet.  Praise God.  I have what many do not and it is not taken for granted.

Wishing you all a great weekend!!  Peace, love & hugs.

  2. Can you believe I haven't changed all my clocks yet? I''ll check out your page and add things I'm thankful for to my weekly blog. I'm glad to see that lots of my cousins on facebook are participating.

  3. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. I'm glad all my on-line friends keep reminding me to change my clocks so I don't forget again this year. That's such an odd feeling when you wake up Sunday morning and realize all your clocks are wrong. It's not a good way to start the day. :)

  5. It's nice not having any plans for the weekend! How true that having a house to clean and clothes that need to be washed, folded and ironed are all blessings! Have a great weekend, Terri!
