I had lunch with good friends, Cindee and Shirley, today! Cindee is loaded down with photos that she shared with us, of her son's wedding! It was a beautiful celebration, in Washington State. It was fun catching up. Shirley and I had lunch a couple of weeks ago, while Cindee was traveling, so today was all about Cindee and her family. We went to Butterfly Bistro again.
When I got back to the office, after lunch, I finished getting receipts input and went to the bank with a nice deposit. Then I went to the bloodmobile for a donation. There is a short supply of type O, and I'm an O positive. I am only four pints away from having donated 10 gallons of blood. It's a good thing to do, if you are able.
My friend Kris has initiated a challenge to post something we are thankful for, between now and Thanksgiving. 21 Days of Contagious Gratitude. I agree with her, that too often we are fast to concentrate on the negatives in our lives, and miss the many things we should be grateful for.
I am thankful for my job, and for all my good friends. The many more things I am thankful for will follow over the next 21 days!! Why don't you join us?!
Wishing you a good Friday!! Peace, love & hugs.

It is so good to meet with friends...share and laugh. I am O positive too! lol Another thing. I plan to join in with the thankful days ahead.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm O negative... a universal donor. My blood is compatible with all others. The last time I donated blood, when they saw my paperwork, I got the reverential treatment, taken ahead of all the others in the room and a warm coke to keep me from passing out. LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a good time at lunch with your friends. That's so nice.
I'm going to do the thankful list too. I think I'll start listing them now. I'm sure I can find 21 things.
It's always so fun to have lunch dates with good friends! I love the photo of Cindee and Shirley! They look like such nice ladies:-) I think it's awesome that you donate your blood. Just think of the lives you have helped our even saved!! I love that you are joining in on the Gratitude challenge! I know how much you love your job and friends..it shows in your blog posts. I feel so sorry for people who don't like their jobs. It's nice knowing that when you start your day you will be doing something for the next 8 or so hours that you truly enjoy! Have a wonderful weekend, Terri!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good day. Hope you have a great weekend!
