1. May’s First Glimpse — What is the very first thing you notice or feel when May arrives each year? I usually just can't believe it's May already!
2. Simple May Joys — What small pleasures do you look forward to in May — flowers, breezes, routines, or traditions? Traditions - thinking about my wedding anniversary. Joe and I got married on May 11, 1985. This year would have been 41 years (we had 36). Mother's Day, of course.
3. May Memories — Do you have a favorite May memory from childhood, family life, or recent years? Our wedding! Simple and very sweet with just close family and a few friends.
I became a wife AND a mom...
4. May Intentions — What gentle goals or hopes do you carry into this new month? The month is starting out with visits from family and friends!! What a great way for a month to begin!!

Happy Anniversary month - what a blessing! May is one of my favorites. It's beautiful weather - nice but not too hot and all the flowers are popping out. It's also my sons birthday month.

ReplyDeleteYou have been busy Terri with all your visitors and outings but a good busy. The lovebugs sound a real nuisance and I can see why they have that name although there doesn't seem to be much to love about them lol.

ReplyDeleteI know your anniversary can be a bit bittersweet, but when you remember all the wonderful blessings that event brought into your life, I know it gives you happy memories. You are blessed with two wonderful sons and their spouses and grandchildren too...so that is a multiplied blessing! And I'm happy for you to have so many wonderful visitors this month! I hope you and Barbara and Gary are having a good time today!! Say hello to them for me!
