Happy Friday, blogging friends! I trust your week has been a good one. I always try to focus on the good stuff, so let's see what that might be...
My walking buddies have all been busy this week, until yesterday. It was actually good that I could sleep in a bit this week. I've been busy (good busy), so slowing down has been good for me. Yes, I could walk by myself... but that's not fun!
I remembered my wedding anniversary in Monday's musing post. Joe and I would have celebrated 41 years on Monday, May 11th. Blessed to have had 36 years, but the 11th will always be our day.
I had a doctor's appointment on Tuesday. We are still trying to figure out why I am still dealing with a UTI after THREE rounds of antibiotics. Guess what?! I figured it out myself. A new medication my primary put me on can cause UTIs. Ha! Switched to a different med and a different antibiotic, and I think we've got it!! Fingers crossed.
Wednesday was haircut day. I had her go shorter. I like it better. I'm terrible at selfies, so I won't try to capture it by myself. You'll have to wait. LOL
When I got home, I started purging my closet. Most of my tops still fit fine. I like my tops to be roomier. My slacks and capris, however, are now mostly three sizes too big. Some two sizes bigger fit okay, but most are three sizes bigger and are way too big. I have four bags to donate, and here they are, piled on my dining room table. Feels good in many ways to get this done.
Last night, the Mas Verde group went to Metro Diner. Always good.
Today, I hope to get some cleaning done. I've been lazy about the dusting and mopping this week, so it must be done. Tomorrow, I have a double birthday and baby shower celebration to attend. My friend, Mali, turns 50. Danon's daughter, Morgan, turns 35 and also just gave birth to a baby boy, Lennox. The party is out at Tenoroc in one of the Pavillions. It will be a fun time. I will have some photos for Monday's post!
Wishing you all a blessed and stress-free weekend!! Thanks for your visit!

Oh my goodness - my advice is get rid of those clothes so you can't use them again. I am so proud of you. Hope your UTI will go away now. I am glad you are getting some rest.
ReplyDeleteGood for you on needing to get rid of the outgrown clothes!!! A home day to catch up is a nice thing!
ReplyDeleteHooray for you for being able to get rid of all those clothes. You've done so good!
ReplyDeleteI hope that UTI clears up now, they are no fun.
So glad you figured out your own diagnosis!! It's a shame the doctors didn't figure it out so you didn't have to deal with that issue for so long! Congrats on purging your outgrown clothes. You look absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh I do hope you have got that UTI sorted now. That's a lot of antibiotics to get through! Well done on sorting the clothes. Sounds like you need to be buying some new ones. Have a great weekend Terri.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you have had a good and busy week. The walking is good but walking by yourself is no fun at all.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you got to the bottom of why you were still suffering with the UTI. I hope the new switch in medication and new antibiotics work.
Good job with sorting your closet!
It sounds like you have a good weekend planned! Have fun with the birthday and baby shower celebrations.
Here you are!!! I was a little concerned when "Your Friend from Florida" wasn't showing up on my reader ... even when I clicked on the blog. I had to type your actual address to get this (and Saturday's) posts to come up. I hope this isn't happening to others, but for now I'm going to copy all my besties' addresses, so I don't miss anyone.
ReplyDeleteANYway, I'm glad you figured out what was causing the UTI's and got a fun new haircut. Congratulations on the reason to find new slacks!
Dear Terri, I hope your UTI will clear up. They are not fun and can be painful.
