The Tuesday 4 on June 3...

Thanks to Annie for today's four questions!!  You can join the fun HERE!!

~~The Best Part of Waking Up~~

Well, hello again!  I am so glad you stopped by, and I do hope you are here to join in for Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4.
We ask 4 questions each week to get you blogging, thinking, discussing, and visiting with other bloggers.

The commercial song said, "The best part of waking up is Folger's in your cup".

1. What is in your cup in the morning?  Folger's Black Silk.

2. What brand of coffee or tea is the best in your opinion and why do you think so?  I was off coffee for about a week and drank some tea.  But... I am back to coffee, and my favorite is any that is bold and strong.  Folger's Black Silk fits the profile for me at home.  Dark and strong works for me, no matter the brand.  The tea I drink most is Earl Grey.  I like Luzianne for my iced tea... It's a Southern thing.

3. Where do you drink your cuppa in the morning? Do you have a nice view?  I drink my morning coffee at the kitchen table.  The view is of my postage-stamp little back yard and my tomato plants in the raised bed.  I am usually looking at the computer screen, though, which is where I read the local newspaper, emails, and blogs.

4.Besides the morning, do you take little tea or coffee breaks during the day?    If you are out and about where is your favorite place to get some tea or coffee?  I only have one or two cups of coffee in the mornings.  I'm retired and don't need a "break" anymore.  I will get iced tea with a meal in a restaurant now and then, but usually just ask for water.  I can make a gallon of iced tea for the cost of one glass in a restaurant!!  (I don't pay more than $15.00 for a plate of pasta, either!)  It's just a thing.

Peace and Hugs!!

My song shall be of Jesus;
  His mercy crowns my days,
He fills my cup with blessings,
And tunes my heart to praise.

  1. While I drink Boost in the morning--no nearly as conventional as tea or coffee but I do enjoy the view out my bedroom window--the sunrise peaking through the palm trees is calming!

  2. I don't drink coffee or tea, mostly just water! But Bob likes a cup in the morning and also likes bold and strong. His has to be decaffeinated though, if he has caffeine he gets heart palpitations.

    1. I don't "need" coffee and also have decaf on the ready. There was a time in my life, though, when I "needed" coffee before 10:00 or I would get a headache. Not anymore.

  5. Color me caffeinated and proud of it. (*grin*) It doesn't happen often, but I'm about to go brew my third cup of French Roast. Perhaps Sumatra.
Because Tom usually sleeps in the recliner, I enjoy mine here at the desk-top. The last time I ordered coffee with my (restaurant) meal it was $2.50/cup. Won't be making that mistake again!

  6. I've wanted to try the black silk, but was worried it might be too strong. Isn't it ridiculous the cost of tea in a restaurant? Just keeps going up. Water and lemon work just fine for us..

  7. I like a stronger coffee, too, Terri. We buy ours at Costco - bold Colombian roast. Blessings!

  8. First.. your background is wonderful. So summery and cheerful! I am with you on the $$ for a plate of pasta. I like the milder coffees but I've tried the Black Silk and its rather good! My oldest son adores it!

  9. Coffee is my thing but try to keep it limited to 3 giant cups a day. Otherwise, I'm a nervous wreck. lol We pretty much drink the New England brand (mail order). It's even better than the Folger's Silk. Very smooth. Blessings. 💖

  10. You already know that I'm a tea-totaller person, no coffee for me, but hubby does enjoy coffee in the morning, but none later than that. I have one cup of hot tea in the morning and I only drink unsweet iced tea with lunch, and water the rest of the time. Maybe a cup of hot tea in the afternoon if I feel the need for a little pick me up, especially in the winter. I am trying to drink just water and lemon in restaurants now because of the cost, but so often the water tastes too much like chlorine and it's just not good, so I get unsweet iced tea and lemon. But if they keep raising the price, I guess I'll have to drink the water or bring my own bottle. LOL. Have a great rest of your week.

  12. I enjoy my 2 cups of tea at breakfast and then another 4 or 5 throughout the day, the last one being rooibos decaf. Have a great week.

  13. Ooh before it slips my mind, yikes the cost of a drink like ice tea or soda in a restaurant is crazy. Plus very few places offer refills anymore. we like Chilis because on the 3 for me menu for $10.99 we get a nice cheeseburger with fries and a salad or soup plus a drink. We love their blackberry ice tea.On my husband Averys birthday he won the door prize our crazy daughter had so now we have two ice tea jugs. Which will be handy at a summer BBQ. I like all the posts you make here. thank you for the smiles.
