The weekend flew by and all I did was sit in the kitchen so Mr. G could work in the living room/dining room. He worked all weekend and will start the kitchen today! I took some photos to share. I haven't put everything back yet because I am changing some things here and there. I do love my new floors. You can't really see the baseboard and finishing strips but it's all so pretty (and clean).
Mr. G said he will finish the kitchen this week and then start the master bedroom. After that, he will do the den/work room and it will all be done. The best part of all of this is the organizing and purging! It just all feels so fresh and new. Sorry to carry on about it!!
I am looking forward to the coming weekend because I will be traveling down to Punta Gorda for lunch with the grands!! They both had birthdays in October. Lauren is 35 and Tristan is 28. Those old photos I've been looking through...

ReplyDeleteI love your floors, and also the nice rug you have in the living room. I want to put a rug in our living room, but hubby doesn't want one. He said we got rid of the carpet so we wouldn't keep getting it dirty, so why would we want to put a rug in there to get dirty? He makes a good point. But still I think an area rug would look nice. Maybe someday when I see one that I really like I can convince him. I love the pictures of your sweet grands. I love how much they love you and that you are able to get together periodically to visit. They are sweet kids. You are blessed!!! Have a wonderful week! Don't overdo it with moving stuff around!!
