Friday Fotos...

My house is out of control!!  It's been nearly three weeks and Mr. G is doing a great job installing the floors throughout my home.  We really are on the home stretch.  He is working in the master bedroom now and the den/workroom will be the last space.

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING is where it is supposed to be.  I took some photos to share.  Blogging friend, Pamela (Closed Doors, Open Windows) warned me about the mess so I was prepared but I am sure ready for this to be done.

It is a blessing and I am happy to be getting it done.  Not just the floors!!  I am doing a pretty good job of sorting and donating and tossing.  It's also like a good spring cleaning, which feels great.  Take a look, though...

The cats are feeling as anxious as I am.  Soon.  It will all be better soon!!
And l will have lunch with the grandchildren tomorrow!!

Peace and Hugs!

Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art.

  1. These reno's are fun but they're also tiring. I feel for ya. I do hope we've reached the end of our reno's for awhile. I'm still tidying up from the last one. Your place looks super, though, it's totally worth the mess.
Hope your day and weekend are great! Blessings.

  2. Oh WoW, things are in disarray. Good news is, it's going to be so nice to have new floors and I'm anxious to see pics when all is over. I can only imagine how hard this is on the cats, looks like they have lots of places to hide. It's gonna be pretty when it's over.

  3. It is a bittersweet situation. You are going to love the floors - and you are getting rid of stuff - but it drives you crazy! Been there!

  4. Oh goodness I feel for you Terri. We're planning on decorating our lounge and hall and stairway in the New Year and I am not looking forward to moving all the stuff around but as you say it will be lovely when it's all finished and back straight again. Enjoy your lunch with the grandkids.

  5. Cats don't like upheaval or chaos any more than we do, Terri, but all will be well. Can't wait to see more photos soon! Blessings, and have a great lunch with your grands tomorrow.

  6. Your home looks so much like ours in Arizona, preparing for the big move. Like your boys, our fur babies were so discombobulated.
Just in time for the holidays, you're going to love it!

  7. Thank you so much for sharing the little imperfections! I've been wanting to replace my floors, I've convinced my husband to do the upstairs, but we both decided the downstairs just needs a good carpet cleaning in San Antonio and maybe we can do it next year. I hope you had a great lunch with the grandkids!

  8. It sounds like you’re so close to the finish line! Remodeling can really turn a house upside down, but it’s great to hear you’re making the most of it with some sorting and donating along the way. It reminds me of how a good carpet cleaning can bring everything together once the dust settles—after the floors are in, a thorough cleaning can make the whole space feel fresh and complete. Can’t wait to see the final reveal; it’ll all be worth it!
