Mr. G is starting the last room today!! Hooray!! I've been working in a few places, getting things put back in order. One guest room is done, my room is done and half of the living room is presentable. Hopefully, he will finish tomorrow and I'll be able to get on with putting the homestead back together. Pictures will follow.
I have one picture to share today....
We have a rock artist here in the community and she has a delivery lady who rides her bike through our streets, leaving the painted rocks near the door or in a conspicuous place. This one was on my porch two days ago. It is always fun. Recipients take a picture and post it on the community Facebook page where we can say thanks. For a long time, no one knew who the artist was but we all know now. It's still fun!
The Mas Verde dinner group went out to Reececliff last night. There were seven of us. A lot of the snowbirds haven't returned yet because of the hurricanes. We will hopefully see a few more arriving in the next few weeks.
Tomorrow I am traveling south for lunch with the Grands!! Lauren texted that she is well and looking forward to lunch on Saturday!!
Peace and Hugs!
Standing on the promises of Christ my King,
Through eternal ages let His praises ring,
Glory in the highest, I will shout and sing,
Standing on the promises of God.

I love the rock - we do them as crafts sometimes in my little church group. Does the lady do them free? Just to your area? How sweet. Enjoy lunch this weekend. And I know you will be glad when the project is complete!
ReplyDeleteYes, she does them free. It's her hobby.
DeleteI know you are looking forward to having it done. It is going to be so nice and easier to keep clean. Have fun with the grands.
ReplyDeleteI adore that painted rock you were gifted with, Terri. Such a thoughtful and talented neighbor, for sure! Enjoy lunch with the grands tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteSweet little rock! Isn't that a sloth? I love your neighbor's generous heart.
ReplyDeletePlease stay safe on the drive tomorrow and enjoy a delicious time with the grands!
That's sweet about the rocks. I really like this idea. It's fun and it brings neighbors together. That's really thoughtful of her. Have a good weekend. Blessings. 😊
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little rock! That's such a fun little thing to do. When we were at the cabin in the mountains we kept finding little rocks here and there. It was fun. I hope you have a great time tomorrow with the grands. I know you will. Take care and drive safely!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend....almost over!!
ReplyDeleteHow cute to see the little painted stones around your place. I love the one you got. Have a good weekend.
