Taking a day off...

 


I have no new photos for today and just decided to wish everyone a blessed Friday and weekend ahead.  A new month has dawned!!

By the way...

Son, Joe, and DIL Darlene are not coming this weekend after all.  They need to get some things done and Joey is still recovering from the detached retina surgery.  They will come after the 15th.  So, instead of cleaning and making beds last night for their arrival today, I have my feet up and will continue working on the den/office/junk room this weekend and starting to prepare for family arriving on Friday next.

There is some fun ahead!  Nephew Lou, his wife, Peggy, their daughter, Jackie, and daughter Nikki and her daughter Maya (my pen pal!!) are coming and we are going to a Phillies spring training game. Nikki's husband is on a business trip so they get to come and join the fun here!  Son Jeff is also trying to get leave approved to join us!!  This photo was in 2022 when we all went to Disney for Maya's 5th birthday celebration.  I came home with covid.  I don't have a picture of Jackie.  Need to fix that while they are here!!



This is a good picture of Lou and Peggy's three girls.  Jackie, Lexie, and Nikki.  I'm sorry to miss Lexie on this trip!

    Happy March! Sorry Joey and Darlene can't come, hopefully he will soon be doing better.
    I can only imagine the laughter and talking that will happen when you all go to that Spring Training Game!

    Sometimes it's good to have a free weekend to get caught up, but I know you are sorry to miss the kids, but they will still be coming soon, so that's good.
