Monday Catch-up...

I just realized I didn't prepare my Monday post last night.  Good grief.  I was enjoying everyone's posts and neglected to prepare for Monday.

Nothing to report.  I had nothing planned because Joey and Darlene were coming.  That is postponed a couple of weeks.  I really did not do much of anything.  A little cleaning, went to Sunday school and church, did my usual two loads of laundry, got my medications sorted for the next three weeks, and sat on my backside in front of the TV.

There you have it!!  Now I'm looking forward to a very fun weekend ahead.  I have lunch plans with Wendy and Suzette tomorrow, a haircut on Thursday, and in-between I will prepare the guest rooms and make a trip to Sam's Club.

Wishing you all a happy week ahead!!

Peace and Hugs!

  2. Sounds like a nice quiet weekend - we need those sometimes!
That's one of my favorite songs. Bob's aunt passed away and we just sang it at her funeral on Saturday.

  4. Sometimes it is nice to just have a normal weekend with no big events scheduled. Time to relax and "breathe" a bit. You got plenty of good stuff coming up, so I'm glad you took it easy for a change!

  5. A 'free' weekend every now and then sounds wonderful! A little bit of this and that sounds just right. I hope your girls' lunch is great fun!

  6. Resting is always good. Even our Lord Jesus rested. It's an example for us to slow down, study His word, talk to the Lord God & Father, and be grateful for the peace He gives us.
    Blessings. 💙
