There isn't a linky and there aren't any rules.
Check out the dress and pick the shoes you like best.
It is all for fun and just a whimsical thing!

What a fun vintage look!! Kinda hurts to think of the 60s as vintage, but here we are!! Count down on the shoes 1-2-3 and tell us which ones she should choose for her outfit. Maybe she is going to church?!
My thoughts: Let's bring back this look!! Not sure I want to wear gloves but I do like the two-piece suit. As for the shoes, I will go with #2 this week because they match her hat. I really like #3, though!! What do you think and where is she going? It is all for fun and just a whimsical thing!
Peace & Hugs!
Crown Him with many crowns, the Lamb upon His throne
Hark how the heavenly anthem drowns all music but its own
Awake my soul and sing, of Him who died for thee
And hail Him as thy matchless King through all eternity

#2 sounds good but first I had to figure out the hair hat thing.. Not sure that works,
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree it's a little strange.
DeleteI'm not a fan of that hat either, but I did choose the #2 shoes because of it.
ReplyDeleteI remember wearing gloves to church. :)
I love this color dress. I am going with #3.
ReplyDeleteShe's meeting her friends for luncheon! And I like the red shoes too....#2! I wish I still had a waist! hahahaha!
ReplyDeleteI pick #3, but your right #2 does go with the hat.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blog
ReplyDeleteI miss ladies (and little girls) dressing 'up' for church. Because of the inside heel, I'm going with #1. I think these all look like Christian Louboutine ... something I like but could never ever afford.
ReplyDeleteI do see the red soles.
DeleteLove this outfit and color. I would definitely wear this, without that red hat. She is a redhead and so was I, and a red hat on red hair just doesn't go. I do remember wearing little white gloves to church and other semi-formal affairs like bridal showers and teas, etc. I would have to pick shoe #1, but in a lower heel, please. My mother used to wear shoes like that to work all day back in the 60's. Then she had bad bunions later in life. But that was the style. Very chic.
ReplyDeleteOh, I almost forgot the song! This is verse 3: (I cut and pasted it, so not from memory).
ReplyDeleteCrown Him the Lord of Love:
Behold His hands and side;
Rich wounds yet visible above
In beauty glorified:
No angel in the sky
Can fully bear that sight,
But downward bends his burning eye
At mysteries so bright.
I'm going with #2 to match her hat, Terri. Yes, I miss the days when we would all dress up for church.
ReplyDeleteI don't care for the hat, so I'll just do my best to make it a "good hair day." Love the 2-piece suit and would like to see this style come back. As for the shoes, they are all beautiful, but I'll go with #1.
ReplyDeleteI'm going for number two - to match!
