Friday got here fast this week, with the holiday on Tuesday! Yay!!
Our potluck at the Clubhouse on the 4th was nice. It is more fun when our snowbird friends are here but I sat with Larry and Sharon, and Tim and Judy, so the company was great. My corn casserole was nearly gone...
Sad, sad that that's the only photo I have to share! Oops... I do have a new photo of Casper (not his best side!) so I will add it here...
I got lots of good advice on the Roomba (sorry I spelled it wrong in my previous post) and decided it won't work for me and my space here. Done and done.
My car now has working AC again!! What a difference!! Got that behind me.
On to the weekend!! I will be cleaning because I'm hosting my church small group on Tuesday. I'm going to serve Cheesy Chicken Pene. I have rotisserie chicken in the freezer so it will be inexpensive to serve. Hope it is as good as it looks!!

Sounds yummy!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad the air is working again!
ReplyDeleteYour chicken penne sounds good!
Great news that your car AC is working again. Casper is adorable. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Terri.
ReplyDeleteLove Casper's green eyes! Gosh, that casserole looks yummy; it never occurred to me to freeze a whole rotisserie for prep later on. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteI take out all the bones and freeze half in two bags for later use. Half a rotisserie is 3-4 cups of chicken, ready to go into a casserole.
DeleteThat cheesy chicken pene looks delicious! I love that you said it's your cats 'bad side'. :) This week really did go fast. Glad you had a great Fourth!
ReplyDeleteYour corn casserole was a hit, indeed, Terri! And Casper is so cute. Have fun with your dinner gathering next week!
ReplyDeletePraise Him all creatures here below...Praise Him above ye heavenly hosts. Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost! Amen. That chicken dish looks great. I'm sure it will be a big hit. Glad you had a great week. I've been busy and forgot to look at yesterday's post. I better go check out the dress and shoes! Bye for now!
ReplyDeleteCasper is so pretty. That dish you're serving to your small group sounds delish....wish I could join in. Happy Saturday, sweet Lady.
