Tuesday 4 wishes you a very Merry Christmas and a Chanukah Sameach.
Welcome to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4..
Let's talk about Christmas this week.
1. Martin Luther is credited with the beginning of the Christmas tree but even older tradition says it is the representation of the Tree of Life.. a fruit-bearing evergreen. What does your tree look like this year? Would you post a photo or describe it for us? My tree is tiny but I love it!
2. What other Christmas decorations are up around your house? Which rooms get them? I don't go crazy anymore but there are a few things other than the tree scattered around, mainly in the living room/dining room.
3. Do the people in your neighborhood decorate their homes for Christmas? Does your town? There are lots of homes decorated around neighborhoods and our city decorates beautifully!!
4. How hospitable are you during the holidays? Could you improve or are your hands full enough this time of year? I love to entertain, especially during the holidays. My hands are fuller than I like right now but God is good and it is all for His glory.

I love that you love to entertain. I wish I lived closer to you so we could come and enjoy the entertainment with you!! You make it look so simple! I seem to have lost my drive for entertaining and I feel bad about that...maybe in the new year I will get it back! LOL. Praying for Helen right now, and for you as you deal with her situation. May God give you the grace and strength you need for these days. (((hugs))) Oh, I and I love your sweet little tree! It's perfect!!
ReplyDeleteI love your sweet little tree, Terri! Wishing you a wonderful Christmas season. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteYour tree is very pretty. I love decorating but some years I've kept is simpler and didn't get as much out.
ReplyDeleteYour tree is full of joy and cheer!
ReplyDeleteI know you enjoy entertaining too. I do too, but like you it does get busy in this season!
Your little tree is very pretty, it's just right for you to enjoy. It's wonderful that you have so many dear friends to be with during this Christmas season. It would be so nice if I were close enough to visit with you!!! Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great attitude, Terri!
ReplyDeleteBefore Tom, my favorite tree was maybe 2-feet; it came from a Hallmark store, pre-lit/pre-decorated. I'm still kicking myself for giving it away when I left Florida.
PS - Your card arrived yesterday and I'm loving your verse. Thank you!
Your tree is PERFECT. We have a little tree - I bet smaller than that and I love it. It's perfect for us.
ReplyDeleteLove your tree. Love the picture with you kitty sitting there near the tree. Hope you have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI do love your little tree, Terri. Once again, we didn't put up a tree, although decorations abound. This did remind me that we have a small ceramic Christmas tree stored somewhere in the garage; I'll have Danny try to find it today.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
We have a tiny tree this year and I put a star on the front door and the back door and I have three santa nutcrackers on the kitchen counter and a big fluffy live advent wreath on the tiny kitchen table. That is it for us this year. I told Mark to get ready for all of the holidays next year - I hope to decorate fully when we are back in our house!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Terri: I love your tree, we have downsized to a smaller tree, it is hard deciding which ornaments to use.
ReplyDeleteWe have about sixty homes in our development and almost all decorate outdoors and the others you can see the tree in the windows.
I love decorating outside.
