Tuesday 4

Holidays

Howdy Partners and welcome back to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4!

Fall and winter are holiday seasons.    This week I am going back in time for one of Toni's first Tuesday 4 questionnaires about holidays.   I  have changed two questions slightly and I hope you don't mind.

Let's talk about holidays.

 1.  Which are your favorite Holiday(s)?  Thanksgiving and Christmas, of course.

2.   Favorite Holiday movie or character?  I enjoy watching Planes, Trains, and Automobiles and the original Miracle on 34th Street for Thanksgiving.  My list of Christmas movies is huge.

3.   Favorite Holiday Dish To Make?  I love cooking holiday meals for a crowd and that includes all the traditional dishes.  Turkey for Thanksgiving and ham for Christmas.

4.   Favorite Holiday Weather You Wish For?  Cool enough to open the windows and let the fresh air in.  This is Florida and we live for the amazing weather between November and April.

Peace & hugs!!
Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!

  1. Great answers, and I could agree with all of them. I love Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. And the original Miracle on 34th St. is one of my all time favorites, plus the original The Bishop's Wife. We also love to watch Chevy Chase's Christmas Vacation movie and A Christmas Story with the two little boys and the BB gun, etc. All fun and good classics. Yep, Turkey for Thanksgiving, and for Christmas we have tried different things...Ham, Hamloaf, Lasagna. And yes, the weather from Nov-April is wonderful, except when we get an unusual tropical storm like what is expected now...! Have a blessed week. We are still waiting for the action to start here on our floors, there was a delay, but should start today, Lord willing and the creek don't rise...literally!!

  2. Hi Terri! I enjoyed your answers. I have never seen Planes, Trains and Automobiles. But you and Pam both said it's a favorite. We may have to try to watch it this year. Hope that storm will lighten up. They're saying we will get some of the rain later this week. I was out on the beach this morning and the wind is a lot worse today than the other mornings I've been out. It actually blew my hat off, so I had to make it a lot tighter, as I didn't want to lose it because it was my brother's hat and he passed in 2014. I hope you have a great day!

  5. If you ever catch me saying, "I love cooking holiday meals for a crowd" please be warned: I've been kidnapped and am trying to signal for help.
My parents never cooked for holidays. It was usually a time for a getaway and restaurant fare. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. LOL.

  6. I think if I lived in Florida that would be my perfect weather too. I've not watched Planes, trains and automobiles. Loved your answers

  7. It seems I watch fewer classic holiday movies now with the Hallmark and GAC movies. There are just so many. I am not complaining. Loved your answers! Have a nice week!
