Dinner Out
Welcome back to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4...
Let's talk about restaurants and eating out, okay?
1 Do you like eating out with friends or would you rather have them over for a meal? I enjoy doing both but probably prefer eating out. No mess to clean up.
2. Let's go out to eat. You pick. Where are we going? That question gets asked every week with our Mas Verde group. We did Mexican last week and are going to a beef place called Ovation this week. I like seafood and Italian but am up for most any restaurant.
3. What are you going to order tonight? I had leftover ribeye last night. Since I am meeting Helen's financial advisor after work today, I may have to pick up some Pho from the Asian Bistro that I love and is in the same shopping center as the bank. Yum!
4. Are you going to have dessert? What will it be? I rarely order the dessert in a restaurant because I am usually too full and it also adds to the expense. I usually have cookies or something sweet in the house when my tummy calls for something sweet.
PRAISE-WORTHY: I didn't say anything because when they call you back for a second look after your annual mammogram, it is usually nothing. I got called back for a second mammogram and they also did an ultrasound on both breasts. I was a bit anxious about (what I will do if I have to miss work for surgery or a procedure) it but not worried. I have what they always call "dense breast tissue" and this has happened many times before. Well, PRAISE GOD the results of the ultrasounds were negative and they were able to tell me before sending me home. God is good!
Casper update: Casper is exploring the house. Vinny is leaving him alone and just watching. So far, so good. They were both on the bed with me last night. He lets me pick him up and kiss his head. I'm just letting him (and them) do it on their own terms. It is only day two.
Peace & hugs!
Jesus is all the world to me...
Such wonderful news! So glad you didn’t have to wait longer to find out. Also love to hear that Casper and Vinny are doing okay so far.
ReplyDeletePraise God, indeed! This calls for a celebration!
ReplyDeleteOne of these days I'm going to treat myself to a bowl of Pho. I've never tried it before, but it sounds delish!
Your test results are definitely something to be thankful for! I'm so happy for you! Enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteI like to go out and someday would like to go out with you! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for your good results! Certainly a reason for praise.
Casper will soon settle in with Vinnie.
That's great news! I just went through that, too. I do have teeny, tiny cysts that they will keep an eye on, but nothing to worry about. It is kind of scary when they make you get another mammogram and a sonogram and go see the surgeon. Isn't it crazy how much dessert costs? I was going to have a slice of pie at Eat 'n' Park last month but one slice of pie was $8.00!!! Good grief. I enjoyed your answers and loved your good news and am glad things are going well with Casper. Have a great day, Terri!
ReplyDeleteGreat news from you tests, Yea!!! Hope Vinny and Casper become great friends.
ReplyDeleteFantastic test news!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you had all if that anxiety,,, and glad for the good outcome.
ReplyDeleteI have that same issue with my breasts, too, Terri; thank goodness for both of us that it's not worse! Casper sounds like he is slowly but surely adjusting to his new digs - that is wonderful news! About eating out, I'm never disappointed with Cracker Barrel or Longhorn.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
I have had two experiences like that after a mammogram. It was rather unsettling until I found out it was just a cyst.
ReplyDeleteI love that you got another cat!!
