Blogging
1. How often do you blog? I post something every day unless I am traveling. What helps you blog.. what hinders you? Keeping a journal of my life's happenings helps me. Sometimes I am hindered because nothing new has happened to write about.
2. What benefits do you get from blogging? Are there any? The benefit for me has been meeting new friends and especially meeting some of you in person!! You can check out the tab above to see who my "in-person" blogging friends are now!! There is also the big plus of having like-minded believers here who pray when prayer is needed. Thank you for that, Prayer Warriors!
3. Have you ever changed your blog theme? Blogspot is my third platform for blogging but my theme of using this as a life journal hasn't really changed. It is fun to look through the archives now and then.
4. Where do you get your ideas for blog posts? Life.
Yes, Life happens, and it is good to have these "journals" to go back through and see where we were and what we were doing on such a such a date, etc., I enjoy your daily posts, even when you don't think you have much to say, it is just good to check in with you and see and "hear" your smiling face/"voice". Almost like a daily phone call with a good good friend. I'm so glad we've actually met in person, thanks to you, and that makes our connection even stronger. And the fact that we both love Jesus and we both are "friends from Florida" makes it even better. Thank you for being my friend who I can count on being there every day!! have a blessed and wonderful day today!
ReplyDeleteGreat answers!! Have a great Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed making so many virtual friends via blogging. Though mine is mostly political, I also like to go back and see the important thought and concerns years ago. The more they change the more they stay the same... :)
ReplyDeleteI am glad I met you through your blog Terri!!
ReplyDeleteTerri, I enjoyed checking out your "pages" links at the top.
ReplyDeleteBlogging -- gotta be grateful for it since it began our friendship and a lot of blessings as a result!
Great answers...I agree, sometimes I used to feel like nothing exciting happened to blog about especially after my girls were grown and I started working an outside job. Now I've joined some linky parties and that has helped me get back on track, but I'd like to start blogging about other topics, etc.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I cringe while looking back on my early posts. All the same, I cherish the unexpected friendships -- the bonds -- with which I've been blessed through blogging. 😍
ReplyDeleteLove reading your blog and getting to "know" you.
ReplyDeleteI love looking back through blog posts. The journey is a large part of blogging.
ReplyDeleteMaybe one day I will be one of those blog friends you have met in person! I've met a few bloggers in person, and I would love to add YOU to that list. One blog friend (who lives in Florida), I had known when I lived there---we went to the same church. We were in different life seasons, though, so we weren't good friends, and after our family moved to Idaho, she and I had no contact. Imagine my surprise to have recognized her face in a comment on another person's blog. I popped by her blog, we reconnected, and I even got to see her on my 2011 trip to Florida.
ReplyDeleteI have never been one who is able to blog every day. Kudos to those of you who do, though. I admire you!
Blessings,
Patti
Yes, wonderful answers Terri. Blogging for me is fun. When it stops being so, is when I quit. Don't see that happening anytime soon. *wink* Plus, it's important to share the love of Jesus Christ with others. This is my humble way of doing so. I hope I always make a positive difference in others lives.
ReplyDeleteI hope your week is happy and full of joy.
Love & Blessings. xx
Love your answers. And yes lifr happens and here is where I share it.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Terri, that one of the most delightful things about blogging are the friends we make through the medium. I also hope that my devotion-themed blog inspires others to walk more closely with our Father.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
I always think I do not do anything new, but I have looked through my archives too and I forget the things I do. I do a lot more than I write about now. I used to blog everyday. I wish I had the time to do that still. Loved your answers! Have a great week.

I blog Mon-Fri. I agree that it's so wonderful to make friends from all over, and meet some in person. Also, as you said, finding like minded believers is such an encouragement.
