Hodgepodge Questions-Volume 439
2. Are you a scaredy-cat? No. About what? There are times when I feel fearful but not often and I can't say I am a scaredy-cat.
3. Last time you were somewhere that should have been busy but felt like a 'ghost town'? It's been a while here in Florida since we have been "open" for quite some time now but it was weird when restaurants opened at 25% capacity and we would be only one of two or three couples having a meal. Last year...
4. Do you like chili and if so how do you like it? Yes! Beans or no beans? Beans! Meat or no meat? Meat! Beef or chicken? Beef! Spice or no spice? Spicey is good! Favorite toppings? Cheddar cheese, sour cream, Frito chips...one or all (or none at all)!
5. Would you describe yourself as a night owl? Not anymore! What time of night qualifies? LOL... I go to bed at 9:00 since I am working again. I feel like a night owl if I stay up past 10:00 on a Friday What are you doing while everyone else is asleep? I am asleep before anyone else! LOL Do you then 'sleep in'? Define 'sleeping in'. Sleeping in is 7:30 or 8:00 these days.
6. Insert your own random thought here. I am so excited that two of my nieces are coming for a visit soon! Joe's older brother, Lou, has two sons and two daughters. One son is married to Peggy and he and Peggy have three daughters. Their oldest is Jackie and Peggy and Jackie are coming on Friday the 12th and will leave late on Sunday. We will have great fun and are driving down to Punta Gorda on that Saturday to have lunch with Lauren & Tristan!! They haven't seen each other for years.
Jackie, Lexie, and Nikki

So glad the nieces are coming and to have time to get together with grands as well is an added blessing.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have a nice visit coming up.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
What beautiful girls, Terri! I know you all will have a marvelous time together. Family, indeed, is something to be treasured.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
I hope you have great fun this weekend with your family!!
ReplyDeleteYou're so fortunate to have a family, even if they are "step" children. I only have Steve. That's it. I have friends but no family.
ReplyDelete#4 ~ I like the all meat chili, no beans, with lots of cheese and/or sour cream on top. Yum yum!
Have a blessed week. xx
You are so lucky to have family, Terri. I am so happy you will have visitors, smiles. Can't wait to hear all about it, smiles.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful family gathering! I am so happy for you! They all seem to have Joe's good looks too! I know it will be kind of bittersweet to see them all, but it will help you to feel closer to Joe and it will be a beautiful time together, I am certain. I enjoyed your post as always.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm getting excited to make chili ... no beans, please! Yep, if anything happens after 9PM someone has to tell me about it. (LOL) That's pretty exciting, having Peggy and Jackie's visit to look forward to!
ReplyDeleteWe don't get trick or treaters - too far out in the country I think.
ReplyDeleteI love chili of all sorts. This week I made chicken chili with black beans. I few weeks ago, I made the traditional typ. So good!
Glad you have some visitors to look forward too@
