Some new photos from this week follow...
A beautiful blue sky one morning this week.
his tailor. Still didn't get the one from our lake that was reported
but I got to see this big boy!!
Tonight there is a gathering of coworkers at the brewery like we did a couple of weeks ago. It was fun so I am looking forward to it again. My boss asked me yesterday if I was planning to go because Mrs. Boss will only go if I'm going. Made me chuckle. She is so fun. Saturday evening, Mr. & Mrs. Boss and Monika are coming to dinner, finally! We had to postpone it two weeks ago because Mr. Boss was sick with a cold.
I got my Moderna booster vaccine on Wednesday. No side effects other than a sore arm for a few hours, just like the flu shot, pneumonia, and tetanus shots last week. My immune system had better be bolstered enough to keep me healthy this winter! Vaccines are my choice. I've gotten them my entire life. I respect all to make their own choices and do not support mandates. We all need to do what is right for ourselves and our families.
So happy to see that the Friday Fotos lives on! I got my booster on Wednesday and it kicked me in the behind... fever, chills, achy... but that tells me it worked! Happy Friday, sweet Friend! 💜
ReplyDeleteWow! That was some gator!! I would like to have watched them bringing him in! Amazing! So glad you have found a fun and happy place to work. God is good. And I like that you are making new friends there as well. Glad you didn't have any bad side effects from your shot. I haven't decided yet whether or not to get the booster. And yes, it is something that each person should have the right to decide for themselves with no mandates. Take care and have a wonderful weekend. I'm still in recuperation mode...haven't really had much opportunity for photos this week, so I may have to skip this one today.
ReplyDeleteThat's one scary gator, Terri! I recently got my booster, too, but unlike the first two shots, this one hurt like you know what. I think it's because I've started taking the supplement Immuneti that enhances the immune system. Now I know why younger folks had such a marked reaction to the vaccine!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
I am up for my booster on Wednesday. Not to be self serving but I posted today the Stats of Covid hospitalized patients in our local hospital. Of those hospitalized the only patients in the ICU and on Vents were non vaccinated. The majority of Covid patients in the hospital were non hospitalized.
ReplyDeletenon vaccinated! (Ending sentence)
DeleteThat is one HUGE gator!... I would not want to run into him anywhere!... Glad you did well with your vaccine and booster...
ReplyDeleteEven in captivity that gator's unnerving! They're here, as well ... so I dread the day Tom decides to take his little jon boat for a spin.
ReplyDeleteI need to call about scheduling my booster; and will check with Tom's nurse to see if she thinks it's safe for him right now.
Good photos. It would be fun to meet in a brewery since I do like craft beer.
ReplyDeleteBlessings. xx
Enjoyed seeing your photos, Terri. What a beautiful lake view you shared! Oh my, what a beast the gator man captured! Enjoy your time with your co-workers and Mrs. Boss tonight.
ReplyDeleteThank you Terri for your thoughts on the vaccines...truly, I appreciate it. I am NOT anti vaxx, I am however, PRO CHOICE. I just get really funny feelings about all this...and your right, its a choice and it should be so...As for that gator, you can keep it, grin.
ReplyDeleteI respect your choice and all, both yay or nay. This is America and it should be a choice to get vaccinated, to wear a mask, or to take a shower... get my meaning.
Delete... not a fan of gators here, but they are pretty amazing to look at!
ReplyDeleteYikes that is a big gator.
ReplyDeleteWow - that's a big Gator!
ReplyDeleteI'm doing the Moderna Booster for residents and staff next week. The Moderna is said to have the least side effects and the best antibody result. I agree - not anti vaxx, but it should not be forced.
You have a 'gator guy'?! I've heard of 'pool guy' and 'floor guy' but never a gator guy. Maybe it's a Florida thing?! :) That gator is big!
