Friday Fotos!
Several of you asked me about the meals I ordered from Freshly. They came on Tuesday and I took some photos.
I ordered six meals. You can do four, six, eight, or twelve. I need to pare it down to four because they are not supposed to be frozen. They are quite convenient and are easy to heat in the microwave. Three minutes and you've got a tasty meal. If you are interested, give it a try. The introductory pricing makes it very worthwhile. This is the Beef & Broccoli Bowl. It was just okay.
This one was very good. I enjoyed it. The chicken breast was tender,
moist, and well seasoned.
I took a couple of photos of Vinny and Lilly the other morning.
I don't have many pictures of Lilly so was happy to see her posing so nicely and then she stuck her tongue out at me! I did get a good one of her though.

I was supposed to meet Kalisa for lunch at Mr. & Mrs. Crab today, but her hubby's truck is still in the shop and she doesn't have wheels. We are rescheduling for next week.
I do have an appointment at Haverty's to pick out two new chairs. Customer Service is swapping out the chairs I received for two more that will be what I thought I was getting. Hoping for success!! Haverty's has been wonderful about this entire chair thing!
Happy Labor Day weekend! I have no plans and actually have to work Monday morning. There are things I need to do around the house tomorrow and Sunday is Church. I also need to get over to Brookdale to see Helen. I may do that today, before going to Haverty's.

Now I know what you'll be doing this weekend! I was wondering when I wrote back to your comment on my blog post a few minutes ago! Love your kitty pics, especially the one with the tongue! That cracked me up! The Freshly meals...do you just refrigerate them when they come? Hmmm, yes, it would be hard to use them all up in time, especially if you go out to eat! I am glad you like them so far. I hope Helen is doing well. Have a peaceful, restful weekend.

It is hard to believe that Labor Day is here....thanking God for the beautiful weather we are enjoying after the rains of Ida. Feels just like Fall this morning.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty kitties. The meals remind me too much of TV Dinners. *lol* Happy to hear they're better than those store bought things. I'm glad the chairs will finally be corrected. Sounds like Haverty's has been wonderful about getting this right. Well done.

Love the cats...so pretty. I have a picture on my post of my grandson holding a kitten that looks like it could have been Vinny as a baby. Thanks for the info on the meals and I hope you can get the chairs you really want.

ReplyDeleteI did place an order for next week. I will make a decision after than to continue or not. They are all good but that they aren't freezable is concerning to me. I'll keep y'all posted!

ReplyDeleteLove your kitty pictures. They are so pretty. I have never heard of Freshly. I'm assuming they are ready to eat meals that you just heat up. So hard to believe it is September already. Time just flies. Hope you have a good weekend enjoying what you are doing.
