Friday Foto Time...

Once again, I am looking forward to Fridays!!   AND... it is time to share some photos from the week!

Next week marks my 36th wedding anniversary with Joe.  I'm still going to count them.  My mom made this and gave it to us as a wedding gift.

My feet are size 12 wide and I rarely find FUN and GIRLY shoes to wear
so I had to get these Crocs when I found them. I love Crocs.

My sweet diva kitty, Lucy.  She was gazing at me a couple of nights ago.

Thursday nights are when I go out to eat with friends here in Mas Verde.
Last night we went to the Cleveland Heights golf course.  They have an
Irish Pub that serves good food and we sat outside.  Snapped a couple of
photos from our perch on the balcony.

I posted this picture of my mom on Facebook.  I love this photo.

I am excited about this weekend!  Mayfaire by-the-Lake is BACK!!  Cancelled last year but back with over 150 artists this year, and just in time for our Governor to take away the mask mandates!  These pictures are from previous years but you can see what it looks like.  It is estimated to bring 75,000 people to the event over the two days.  The art museum where I worked for 20 years hosts this event each year so I always had to work.  Two years ago, my knees hurt too bad to go and it was cancelled last year so I am looking forward to going and just enjoying it this year!

The stage is busy with tap dancers, belly dancers, singers, bands... and the shady area in front of the stage makes a great place to cool off and sit a spell.

This is Hattie and Murph.  Murph used to work in the Operations Department at the Museum so we have known each other for a bunch of years.  I think this picture is from 2010.  They are here for this year, driving down from Michigan.  Murph called me yesterday to let me know they made it safely.  We will get together a couple of times while they are here.

Mayfaire Saturday Nite has been cancelled for this year.   A live band and fireworks always draw a crowd and this one estimates 6,000 people each year.  Just a little too close for our times right now.

And I imagine the chairs and benches in front of the stage will be a little more spread out this year.

Artist tents go around Lake Morton (the swan lake).

And my sweetie was always there with me.  A few years he drove the golf cart shuttles while I worked.

Thanks for making it this far!! Wishing you a good weekend!!

Peace & hugs!!  Jesus loves you!!

Those crocs are cute, indeed. I keep threatening to try on a pair sometime; 'just concerned they wouldn't stay on my foot.
    Enjoy your weekend!

  9. Oh, I hope you have lovely weather and a beautiful weekend for the Mayfaire. Looks like a lot of fun. It will be nice to see your friends who came down too. I will be thinking of you and saying a little prayer for you on your anniversary next week. I can imagine that will be a difficult day, but it is good to remember the happy memories and the love you two shared for so many years. You were truly blessed. (((hugs))) to you today. Are you off on Friday from your new job? I hope you survived your first week! I know it was challenging, but you are a person who appears to be able to handle challenges with charm and grace. Have a wonderful weekend.

I like the crocs! Our daughter wears 11 narrow and has similar issues.
The same daughter has a cat named Lucy! That's a really nice photo of your Lucy!
