Checking In...

 Dear Friends,

I just wanted to pop in and let you know that I am doing okay.  Today was a better day... not great but better.  I am getting lots of things done and I am humbled and blessed by cards, gifts, food, prayers, and all the love coming my way.  Thank you.  Your prayers are especially appreciated and needed. Thank you.

God is in control.  I am placing my trust in His hands and know I will get through these weeks, months, and years without my Joe because my God is an awesome God.

Our son gets here on Tuesday so I have been getting the guest room ready and have been cleaning and thinking ahead about what needs to get done while I have his help.

I have been reading your posts here and there but not commenting much. Please bear with me. My love to you all.

Peace & hugs!  Jesus loves us!!

  1. Oh, Terri, it is so good to hear from you and to know you are doing "ok". I know you are just "ok", but that is good enough right now. So glad your son is coming to help you. I know you will love having him there and he will be such a big help to you...and you can just cry on each other's shoulders a bit too, which is sometimes exactly what you need...probably he needs it too. Yes, we continue to pray for you each day and wish we were close enough to do something for you, but praying is sometimes the best thing. God has His "angels" everywhere as needed and will send the people you need at just the right times. Just take care of yourself and don't stress over keeping up with us. We know you are going through a difficult time and sometimes it may be all you can do to just get up and keep going, let alone try to keep up with blogs, etc. You know we will all be here when you are ready. (((hugs))) and prayers for you and your family now. xoxoxo

  14. We all are praying for and loving you whether we hear from you or not, Terri. I'm glad your son will be there to help figure things out. I remember last year when my friend's husband died, there were so many things she had never imagined that had to be signed and taken care of to prove he had actually died. ((((Hugs)))) and prayers!
