Tuesday 4
Rejoice!!
Hello and welcome to Tuesday 4 dedicated to the memory of Toni Taddeo, the founder.
Let's rejoice today!
1. What makes you rejoice the most? Loved ones; a beautiful day; a prayer answered; a baby's smile; my cats' purrs; my husband; my friends who care about me; and knowing that our Lord gave His only Son for me and that Jesus loves me in spite of my sinful ways...
2. What song makes you feel joyful or happy? Hallelujah... all the versions.
and also this one... I Can Only Imagine
3. Do sounds of nature give you a joyous feeling? A soft breeze; birds singing; the waves breaking on the beach... peaceful and joyful. Yes.
4. How about holidays? Do you really rejoice or just kind of show up? I do rejoice in the holidays, especially when they bring family and friends together!! I don't usually just show up because I am usually cooking and cleaning and decorating and getting ready for all the fun!

I love "Hallelujah"! It does get stuck in my head though...

I love watching + hearing waves crashing too.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Terri,
ReplyDeleteNice answers and I love you song picks, especially "I Can Only Imagine". Sounds of crashing waves against the beach is amazing!
Let us hope soon we can get back to the holidays as usual!!
ReplyDeleteI love the song "I Can Only Imagine!" And yes, I celebrate holidays - what good are they if you just show up and go through the motions?
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Terri!
That version of Hallelujah is beautiful! I've never heard it before. Thanks for sharing it. Have a blessed day!
ReplyDeleteI agree that family and friends together are the most joyful of times! Lovely song and thanks for joining in!
ReplyDeleteGreat post... Have a lovely week!!
ReplyDeleteLove your song choices! I just read that a cats purr has a healing quality, so keep those sweet kitties close!!
ReplyDeleteHallelujah is a moving song. I think one of my favorites is the Christmas Hallelujah by Covington. Amazing Grace is my all time favorite praise song though. xx

Great answers. I really love I Can Only Imagine too.
ReplyDeleteOh, great songs!! Yes!!! Great answers too! I can imagine holidays with you would always be fun and special and lots of good food!! Family being together is the best thing, but when you can't have family, it's great to have good friends too! Sometimes both, or sometimes friends are even better! LOL. Depends on the family I guess. I am blessed with great family and friends! So thankful. Rejoice!!
ReplyDeleteGreat song choices, Terri. Thanks for adding these videos so I might readily listen and sing along. Every day's a blessing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous version of Hallelujah! Loved your answers! Have a nice week.

I like this theme! I like those songs too.
ReplyDeleteMy mom died suddenly at 69 years old. Bob and I were at a meeting at church and my sister and BIL stopped there and said we have to get to Dad and mom's now. We drove there not knowing if we would find her alive when we got there, we just knew they were working on her. As we drove, I can only imagine came on the radio. It really hit us all, and I think of that every time I hear it.
I have the same reaction to Amazing Grace when I hear it. A longer story than I can do here but I understand how songs can bring back feelings. Both songs do/should bring peace though. Hugs!
DeleteTime spent with others is always the most joyous thing.
