Sunday Stealing...

Big thanks to Bev Sykes for today's questions!  You can join in right HERE!

January

1. What are your plans for January?  Stay healthy.

2. What do you want to see happen in 2021?  I want the pandemic to end and soon!

3.  What would you give a 5-star rating?  Our current President and First Lady.

4. Do you have writing goals for 2021?  Not past doing my blog each day.

5. How do you feel about memoirs?  Sometimes they are interesting and sometimes not.

6. If you could join any musical group who would you choose?  Doesn't matter... they would toss me out in a minute!

7. What are your favorite genres across all media?  I enjoy mysteries and detective stories.

8. What candle scents are your favorite?  Cinnamon or Vanilla.  Flower scents make me sick.

9. How well can you mimic other accents or voices?  Not well at all.

10. What books are on your TBR list in 2021?  I got hooked on the Patricia Fisher Mysteries.  I got a free boxed set
of TEN and have ordered the next two.  I think there are five or six more. Just silly mysteries but Patricia Fisher is
in her 50s and finds all kinds of trouble.  The characters are lovable even when the plot gets silly.  The author is
Steve Higgs.

11. When do you decide it’s time to upgrade/buy something new?  When it breaks.

12. What is your favorite color?  One day it is green, another day it is purple, another day it is red. I usually just
say any jewel tone.

13. Who understands you the best?  Joe.

14. Do you write letters?  Rarely, especially now that I am retired.

15. How do you keep going when times are hard?  Trust in Jesus!!

Peace & hugs!!  Jesus loves you!!

  2. Our current president and first lady are 5-star in my book, too, Terri! I wish I could say I had writing plans beyond my blog, but nothing is materializing at the moment. if God nudges me in that direction, I will surely follow.

    1. They do get rather silly sometimes, but I read for entertainment and amusement. These fit the bill. Easy and amusing.

    2. They do continue to the next book so it is best to start at the beginning when she boards the cruise ship for an around the world cruise...

    1. Be sure to start with the first book when she goes on the cruise. They do continue the stories with the next book.

  5. 100% agree about our President and First Lady! They don't make me sick, but floral scents of any kind can be cloying ... and are a big turn-off.

  7. Yes, I would also give our President and First Lady a top rating. I feel sick about the way things are happening right now and can't even talk about it without either crying or wanting to scream, so I will stop with that. I loved all your answers. I can't do scented candles, but if I have to it would be what you said. Vanilla is the least objectionable, unless it is too strong. I haven't done much reading lately as I was working on genealogy, but now I am done with that and need to start reading again. Your choices sound like fun. I don't like heavy reading when I want to relax. Mysteries and fun sound good to me. Have a wonderful day/week.

  8. I agree 100% with your answers to #1,2,3. I'm also standing with you with your answer to #15, trusting Jesus to get us through the pandemic and the political turmoil in our beloved USA. Hope you're having a very blessed SonDay.

  10. Good words for the day. I also give the Trumps 5 stars. I can't imagine what they are going through right now - with all they have given to this country, only to be constantly slammed has to be draining.
In light of all that, your answer to #15 is perfect!

  11. I love the smell of cinnamon too, all things cinnamon really. One of my favorite comfort foods is cinnamon toast. Yes, Yes, yes to #15!

  12. Teri,

Nice answers. Yes, the president and first lady do deserve a 5-star rating. They've done such a wonderful job and I hate how the election was stolen. The dunderheads (thugs and other nasties) think they are immune to what's coming but they aren't. Someday these same people will face even nastier and meaner people - an unstoppable communist government who don't care about any lives. Ooops, sorry about the ranting. Do I need to go to time out? I like cinnamony scents especially for Christmas but I think if I had candles in my home year round I'd prerfer a mild pleasant scent like vanilla. I stole these questions to use in tomorrow's post since there aren't any Tuesday 4 questions up. Have a good evening!
