We didn't go to the ranch/Joe's client this week. They had other plans so no animal pictures to share. I will have to take extra carrots next week. Not many new photos to share and some were on FB so they won't be new to all of you... I may even have posted the berries here, earlier.
Strawberry season... worth posting again.
and then out for a late breakfast. I took her by surprise
with this picture. She ate a pancake that was as big as the plate,
two pieces of bacon, and TWO cups of coffee.
We got our first COVID vaccinations yesterday.
They made us wait for 15 minutes after the injection before
we could leave. Our second shot will be at the end of February.
She was bored and Joe was looking at his phone.
Everyone perked up when our 15 minutes were up!
It all went smoothly and all the people were great.
Peace & hugs!! Jesus loves you!!
Joe and I are going out with Jim & Elaine tonight for some fish. I've mentioned Mr. Fish on here before. It is a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant just across the street from the museum where I worked for 20 years. It is all fried and it is all good. We will top the evening off with a game or two. Happy Friday!! By the way, it is 'cold' here again. A couple of days in the 80s and now our highs are in the 60s. Welcome to winter in Florida!

Congrats on your shots... What a relief I am sure. :)
ReplyDeleteLove your little avatar character and outfits. I still don't know how you do that, but she's so cute. Glad to know you got your vaccinations. We still haven't, but are waiting for our Dr. to get them in his office. He said he hopes it will be soon and he will let his patients know when. Helen looks wonderful for 93. It is great that she is still able to be up and out and around. I know she is slowing down, but she is blessed to have you and Joe and Cheryl to help her. Your strawberries look great! They are a nice taste of early summer for us here in Florida, even tho it does feel like winter again! Yesterday the wind was brutal here, with a wind chill of 43. But I guess we shouldn't complain when we see what our friends up north are dealing with. WE are very blessed to be HERE! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteSo glad y'all were able to get your shots. Helen looks so good for 93. I think Mother looks wonderful for her age too. I am not sure I got those genes! It was very cold here too yesterday and the wind chill was what made it so bad. I will be ready for some spring soon.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you were able to get your first shots, Terri, and glad for Helen, too. She is the same age as my mom, who got her first shot this past Wednesday. Sure wish I'd hear something about mine!
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!
Very cold + windy here. 26 but wind chill is 12. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteHope those Florida strawberries get up here soon. The first strawberries are so good. And a sign that spring is on the way. We are having shrimp for lunch today...taking a road trip to Cullman, AL. Still waiting on our vaccines here in AL.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you were able to get your vaccines. This is a great picture of Helen; sharp dresser, isn't she? Keep warm!
ReplyDeleteMr. Fish sounds like my kind of place! My husband has an appointment for his vaccine on Tuesday, but I still haven't heard anything about mine. Hopefully soon!
ReplyDeleteHa! I love that clip art of you in the coat! We are supposed to get another snow storm tomorrow. It's 19 degrees here now.
ReplyDeleteNice to see Helen looking so good!
We did our second vaccines at work this week. The first went off without a hitch. A lot of people got quite sick with the second one - just to prepare you!
Yes, we have heard there could be fever and fly like nastiness for a day or so, but then it goes away. Thanks for confirming the news.
DeleteFlu...Not fly
DeleteGlad to hear you got your vaccines. Hopefully the after effects are over by now.
ReplyDeleteI wondered if you still did Friday Photos! Helen looks like a trooper! Still waiting to hear a window for my vaccine...
