Whimsical Wednesday...

There is no linky.  Just read everyone's
comments and enjoy the fun!!

Her beautiful gown needs a pair of shoes to compliment it.
What do you think?

Shoe choice #1

 Shoe choice #2

Shoe choice #3

My thoughts:   I like #1 and #3 but will pick #1 for myself  (if I could miraculously wear heels) and if I was wearing the gown, which I think is absolutely gorgeous.   I have no place to wear it, but wouldn't it be fun if I did!!   (Photos from The Storybook Of Dreams & Beauty)

I had my 6-week facial yesterday and enjoyed catching up with my friend, Dawn, who is my aesthetician.  When I got home, Joe and I decided to get out of Dodge for a while. He was feeling a little better (though his shoulder is still painful and "frozen") so we headed out for Brandon (a little south of Tampa) for lunch at Portillo's.  We both had a yummy Italian beef sandwich.  It felt good to have something to do!!  Joe called the doctor's office while we were on the road and we are still waiting for the insurance company to make a decision about the MRI.  Heavy sigh.

Thanks for stopping by today!!  Peace & hugs!!  God bless!!

  2. All of them make my feet hurt just looking at them, but as you said, if I could "magically" wear heels again...I'd pick #2. I like #1 best in general, but #2 just seems to go with the dress...beautifully detailed gown with a simple shoe.

Sorry to hear the insurance co. is still dragging its feet. Why on earth do they do that kind of thing to people? I hope today brings some good news. I'm glad you two were able to get out and have some fun, though. Happy Wednesday!

  3. I'd pick #1. Sometimes it's good to get away even if only for a short time. I hope Joe feels better. Have a great day!

  6. Well while I could not wear any of those shoes, even when I was young! I would pick number three. How do people walk in these stilts?? Glad you got out and about.

  7. Aaarg, I'm so conflicted! Love #2, but can't forget when, years ago, someone told me, "For a lovely lady you sure have ugly toes.". LOL.

  9. WoW, that is a beautiful dress or gown. I think any of the three would look great with the dress, I think I would go with pair 3, just because! Great that you and Joe got out for a while, sometimes we like to do that too! Prayers for Joe's MRI, hope insurance comes through for him.

  12. Oh, insurance companies....my sister-in-law and brother-in-law have been in limbo for almost 9 months about roof damage from a hurricane. It's so frustrating to wait on their decision.

I think any of those shoes would be perfect with that dress...however, I wouldn't be able to wear any of them. They would all hurt my feet.

I'm sorry it's taking the insurance company so long!

  14. I think #1 is the best with the dress, but like you, I'd be wearing flats!

  15. One good way to lose weight is to simply stay so busy that you don't have time to eat! When idle, thoughts commonly drift toward food. This sometimes leads to binge eating or poor food selections. If you keep yourself occupied, this will not happen.

  16. In order to make sure you drink enough water, each morning, you should fill a container with the amount of water you need to drink. Each day make sure you drink all the water in the container, over the course of the day. This will help you to know how much you've drunk and also, to make sure you get the proper amount of water needed to lose weight and get in shape.

  17. While you certainly do not want to overuse this feature, as it will annoy people, it could come in very handy if you have a big announcement or you are running a contest. Save it for only your most important announcements, however.
