Tuesday 4 Meme...

Tuesday 4 #2 Wayfaring

1. Where have you traveled and what is the furthest you've been from home?
The farthest I have traveled is to Italy!
Other than that we really don't travel too far from home unless
we are visiting family in Ohio, Georgia, and Virginia.

2. Is there a location other than where you are, that you think would
be a nice place to live?
No.  We are old and settled now.  We love our 55+ community here in Florida.

3. Do you have a photo or story from a favorite place to visit?
Venice, Italy, was beautiful, mysterious, and lots of fun.
We also saw Florence, Rome, Tuscany, Sienna, and Orvieto.
Loved Italy. A dream trip!!  It was in 2007.

4. What dream destination do you have tucked away in your heart?  I would like to visit Scotland, Ireland, and Germany.  Do you think you'll be able to visit them one day or are plans in the making?  Nope. Not unless we win the lottery. We are retired and have a limited income now that won't allow world travel. I can dream though!

Thanks to Annie for today's Meme!!  You can join in HERE!!

Thanks for your visit!  Peace & hugs!  God bless!!

  1. I LOVE Italy, too. Yours sounds like the trip of a lifetime. Aren't you glad you visited when you were both able to get around without aches and pains? That's what I keep telling myself. :)

  8. Your trip to Italy must have been wonderful. I've never been 'across the pond', and don't see it happening now. Like you we are happily retired with a retirement income. We love where we live, it's home.

  13. Loved your answers! My husband is first-generation American on his mom's side (she was from Sicily) and his dream is to visit the old country. I would like to see Scotland and Ireland, too, but am not sure that they could ever get me on a plane! LOL! Blessings for a great rest of the week! :)

  19. My dad loved Italy. I would like to take a cruise like he did. I understand how retirement can limit things. One can always dream though. Nice picture!

  21. Ignore what your scale says. A lot of people find themselves easily discouraged when their scale does not indicate that they are making immediate progress. If you are exercising and dieting properly, just ignore the scale entirely. Keep up what you are doing. It might take a little while, but eventually you will begin to see results.

  22. You should make the habit of eating three times a day, at the same time every day. This will help you stay away from snacks and also help you reduce the quantity of food that you eat. Eat in the morning, around noon and around nine in the evening for better results.
