Four questions weekly
Welcome to another Tuesday 4 invented by Toni Taddeo and kept in the memory of her.
Do You Want to Build a Snowman is a song from the movie Frozen, but I think it would make for some great questions too.
Do You Want to Build a Snowman is a song from the movie Frozen, but I think it would make for some great questions too.
Here we go:
1. Have you built snowmen, women or even entire families of snow people like little sister Tootie did in Meet Me in St. Louis? I built snowmen when I was in school but never an entire snow family. Did you use a carrot for the nose? No, I don't think so. Probably a stick.
2. Are you hoping for snowmen to melt soon in hotter weather? We don't have to worry about that in Florida. Tell us about your favorite time of year and please let us know why you love it. List some ingredients of that season that make it special for you. Winters in Florida are the best!
3. Remember bundling up as a child? Yes. It took so long to do then you had to go potty and all those layers had to come off again! Is dressing up something you enjoy doing? Why? Dressing up in winter clothes? No. Dressing up fancy... no, not so much anymore.
4. In Frozen, the little girl desperately wants to reconnect with her sister and reminds her of the happy times of building snowmen. Are you disconnected from anyone you'd love to reunite with? No one comes to mind. What happy times with friends and siblings brings you fond memories and smiles to you? I am 68 years old. There are way too many happy times to list here but I know I am blessed to have so many wonderful memories and more happy times to come.

Thanks for your visit! Peace & hugs! God bless!!

I remember those times of bundling up in layers so I could go out and play in the snow. I did that as an adult as well as a child...and loved every minute of it. But I am thankful to not have to deal with snow and ice now. I would enjoy it for a day or two, but not everyday all winter long. Thankful to be in Florida where we can build sand castles instead of snowmen! LOL
ReplyDeleteI think we used a rock for a snowman nose.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
I haven't built a snowman since I was very little. I think we used a button for the nose. I know it wasn't a carrot. It must be nice to live in Florida during the winter. The older I get, the less I like the cold.
ReplyDeleteI will pass on the snowman but I would like to take a walk in the sunshine.lol Still gray and dreary here in NoAla.
ReplyDeleteWell, dressing in layers is a must, lol. And I am the "freak" who loves winter, LOLOL. Have a great day, Terri.
ReplyDeleteHello Terri!! Enjoyed visiting and reading your answers. Hope all is well with you and Joe!!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a sweet and positive person. I remember building snowmen too - but I think it was decades ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a whole off topic for someone who lives in Florida, huh :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining in and helping keep Tuesday 4 alive. I enjoyed reading your answers. Its great to live in a place where you enjoy the weather :)
ReplyDeleteGiven where you live, yours are great answers. Improv!
ReplyDeleteI'm a little surprised you don't enjoy dressing 'up' -- the images from prior Museum galas are 'wowza'!
The Galas were always fun but they also brought some stress with them... what to wear. The men have it so easy!! I was glad it was once a year and am even more glad that they are behind me now!
DeleteI have such fond memories of the year we spent in Massachusetts - so much snow!!! I can't remember how many snowmen my brother and I made, but it was a lot.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Terri!
Love your answer "many wonderful memories"...Hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that you can't think of anyone you're disconnected from. From what I've seen in the people around me, that is a very rare thing these days. I enjoyed your answers and am jealous of your winter weather!
ReplyDeleteHi Terri, I really like your background! I am from So Calif. so not much snow for me. I do have lots of good memories!
ReplyDeleteBuilding a snowman was fun when I was MUCH younger. Now I just like to decorate with them inside my house for the month of January, between Christmas decorations and Valentine's Day.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your answers. Blessings for a great rest of the week! :)
