Welcome once again to Tuesday 4 where we are interested in helping to make new friends in the blogging community and get to know one another as well as supply you with some blog material!
Here are this week's questions for you to ponder and share with others on the subject of Hobbies and interests. If you don't have a hobby, there are things that interest you from collecting to politics, everyone has something they especially find interesting.
Here we go!......
1. Do you have a hobby or a special interest? Not so much now, but I used to make jewelry and I can crochet.

2.
Gardening is a hobby for some. Do you
garden or grow house plants? I have a brown thumb and do not enjoy working outside or with plants - at all. Not my thing though I appreciate beautiful plants, flowers, and yards.
3. If you could design a dream garden or park, how would you do it? See my answer above. I appreciate God's design all around me.
4. Do you like being outdoors? I am not an outdoors person. Perhaps when my knees are both working and pain-free I will enjoy walking again.
I reduced the questions to four. This was much too involved for someone who doesn't care about gardening and plants, so forgive the abbreviated version! You can join the Meme by clicking below! Thanks to Annie for continuing the Tuesday 4!!

(Joe has a doctor's appointment at 8:00 this morning about his shoulder and the cough that has gotten worse.)
Peace & Hugs!! God Bless!!

First of all, praying for Joe. I dont have a hobby but like you I can crochet and like to read. I love growing flowers both inside and out and always have something green around. I cant work in the yard like I used to but I can tend hanging baskets on the porch. Hope today gives answers and help for joe. Did you reschedule your knee surgery?
ReplyDeleteWaiting to hear back from them, Linda.
DeleteI don't have any hobbies. I'm sorry to hear Joe is worse. Hope he feels better.
ReplyDeleteA few pink flamingos are all one needs for a perfect Florida landscape!! LOL . :)
ReplyDeleteI am with you Terri...I love a pretty garden as long as someone else takes care of it.lol And another member of the brown thumb club! I have managed to keep teo green plants alive in my home. That is a record.
ReplyDeleteI am a pretty good plant killer. I love them, but they don't love me. My husband plants tomatoes, squash, a nice little garden. I help by going out and picking it and eating it. I used to sew and cross-stitch, now I like to bargain shop, read, sit in my chair and drink coffee, and go to an arthritis swim class. And, be with grandchildren...that's my favorite.
ReplyDeleteSorry about Joe's troubles, hope he feels better soon!

Your answer to #2 could well be my own! We're not rich, but I'd rather flip burgers somewhere and pay a lawn service. (Not so sure it won't come to that this year.)
ReplyDeleteOur lawn service at our old house (big lot) was $160 a month. Here we pay $25 a month. Love our new 55+ community!
DeleteWhen you said that about gardening, I had to 'snort'--because I think Floyd (Your flamingo) would count as gardening, LOLOL. Have a great day, Terri, keeping you both in prayer.
ReplyDeleteAll artificial.
DeleteBoth you and Joe are in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your truthful answers, some don't have or
can't have an interest in gardening or any other hobbies.
Have a great week.
Oh, funny, on the brown thumb. Mine isn't far off that, though I do keep trying my hand at growing a few things. Several years ago (2006), I jumped in to the world of gardening, with a fairly large garden. I struggled through it that whole summer and even again the next summer, but I came to the conclusion that I would rather go to the Farmer's Market and pay for someone else's homegrown produce. And that is OKAY! I do have a small herb garden, though, with basil, rosemary, cilantro, and mint.
ReplyDeleteI don't like to get dirty, so pulling weeds (and sweating) are a turn-off to me.
I can't wait to hear that your knee surgery is behind you and you are enjoying some pain-free walking!
Forgot to say....very cute little avatar.
ReplyDeleteI like your cute avatar too and the questions are fun. I don't garden much any more either and need to get back to creating something! lol Hope the appt goes well and he feels much better soon!
ReplyDeleteI love being outdoors... sadly, the older I get, allergies make outdoors miserable for me.
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of jewelry did you make????
I love being outdoors but the insect make it miserable sometimes ugh! I sure hope your knees get better quickly and that Joe loses the cough and has relief in the shoulder. prayers are going your way.
ReplyDeleteWill keep up the prayers for Joe and you, Terri! Sending love, hugs and blessings!
ReplyDeleteI find gardening here in Florida to be a little more demanding than I had expected. And then there's the reptile issue ....
ReplyDeleteMy porch plants have been moved to the patio where they are subjected to whatever the weather brings. I suspect they will not survive the cold of this week. I have hardier plants in much larger pots out there that tolerate climate changes much better.
I also have a brown thumb and let Bob do the gardening. And, like you, I prefer to be inside!
ReplyDeleteI feel like I did not answers all of the questions either. I did my best. Hee, hee!
ReplyDeleteI love to be outside, but it really has to be comfortable and the mosquitoes can not be biting. Why do they have to ruin everything? Loved your answers! Have a nice week.

Sorry about your knees. I have neck and shoulder problems so I can't do to much. I bet your crating was nice too.
