I am linking up with Rebecca Jo at Knit By God's Hand to share blessings from this week with others doing the same. You can join in
HERE!! Thanks, Rebecca Jo!
** Like most have already mentioned, I am thankful for another year and a new decade!!
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ,
the new creation has come: The old has gone,
the new is here!" 2 Corinthians 5:17
** I am thankful that Joe and I are both better. The coughing isn't done, but it is better and we feel okay.
** I didn't put out many decorations this year and I am thankful now that it is time to put everything away.
** I am thankful for our wonderful neighbors here in Mas Verde. We are so blessed!
** I am thankful for our families... both sides!! We were blessed with visitors during December and some great memories were made!
** I am thankful for Joe and I am thankful for each of you!
Peace & hugs! God bless!!
And WE are thankful for YOU!! And also thankful that you and Joe are feeling better! I'm glad you don't have a lot of work to do to clean up after Christmas. Unfortunately, I did do a lot of decorating, and I am looking at them now and wondering when I will decide to take them down. I'm not really ready yet...still enjoying the lights so much in the early morning and evenings. When it is so dark so long each day, having these little bright Christmas lights around makes me smile...so I may just leave them up a while longer. I usually do leave them up until "Epiphany" (Jan. 6) anyway. So we shall see. Have a blessed and beautiful day today!
ReplyDeleteYou and Joe have so many things to be thankful for. Glad you are feeling better. Putting up fewer Christmas decorations is a good thing. I need to cut down next year. Took me hours to get everything packed up and put away. Now the house seems naked. Glad you had family and friends nearby to visit during the holidays. Have a good Thankful Thursday and a Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteIt's good to see that your recovery (yours and Joe's) is in progress. I guess your knee surgery is the next big medical event on the calendar. I'm praying that goes well.
ReplyDeleteThankful that I didn't over-decorate this Christmas, too, Terri! So glad you all are feeling better and ready to face the New Year.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I love your new look here, Terri, smiles. I say this each and every week--I am thankful for you, smiles.
ReplyDeleteBless your hearts... glad you two are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way - I was looking at all the things I need to put up after Christmas (we still have 2 more to go) & I'm so glad I didnt pull it all out - just enough to make it festive, not enough to take a full day of work
We haven't taken our tree down yet. That will be our weekend project. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteOkay I love that verse in the bible - I am thankful for a new year and a new slate! Our Christmas is down!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you and Joe are feeling better. It sure was a long haul!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you will probably be having lots of guests in 2020 as well. I mean, who doesn't want to go to Florida?!
I am thankful for you too. You are a very sweet, encouraging friend!
So much to be thankful for! I am glad you guys are on the mend!

Thankful for you and your blog, always enjoy visiting with you.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't put up to many decorations either this year. I plan to get ours put away before the weekend is over.
ReplyDeleteYour posts always warm my heart, and today is no exception! Love you!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you two are feeling better! And you sure are blessed by your community...I am always slightly in awe of how wonderfully friendly it sounds. Always something to do and someone to do it with!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are both feeling better.
ReplyDeleteAlways nice to drop by.... and always upbeat! :)
