** I am so thankful to be married to my best friend who gets me, puts up with me, and loves me.
** I am thankful for my faith in Jesus Christ. It is everything to me.
** I am thankful for my family! Oh my goodness, I am so blessed.
** I am thankful that my knee surgery is finally scheduled. The cortisone hasn't kicked in yet, from Monday. Perhaps it just won't work for me anymore. I am tired of the pain and the doc even shared with me that when you wait too long, your legs start to bow. Mine are bowing. My new knee will make my right leg longer than the left because of that. Glad the second knee will be done three months later. Sigh.
** That said, I am thankful for my prayer partners/warriors!! I am thankful that I found Dr. Bernasek, thanks to our nephew, Sean.
** I am thankful for my part-time job, but am happy to have settled on a 'retirement' date. More later!
** I am thankful for each of you!
** I am thankful and happy to have a four-day weekend ahead!! Hooray!
Do you have plans for the weekend? Thanks for your visit today!!
Peace & hugs! God bless!!

Thank the Lord always.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteTerri, every night when I lay my head on my pillow I thank God for another day and all the blessings I enjoy from his Grace. So glad you are going to get some pain relief.
ReplyDeleteThat's interesting information about the bowing of legs when surgery is put off too long -- but nobody likes to be rushed into something like that. I'm glad you can now put a date on the calendar for your 2nd retirement!!!
ReplyDeleteWe both have so much to be thankful for! Nice to take time and count your blessings. We may not be able to get out much with the heat this weekend! I hiked this morning before it got too hot but we'll see! Nice for all those that like water sports though! Enjoy your day sweet lady!
ReplyDeleteYou have wonderful things to be thankful for!! Have a great and blessed day. xo Diana
ReplyDeletethe surgeries will be 3 months apart? WOW - super fast... but just think, this time next year? You'll be hard to keep up with!!!!
ReplyDeleteAll good things to be thankful for. Praying all goes well when you have your surgery. Hugs and blessings sweet Terri, you and Joe have a wonderful day and weekend.
ReplyDeleteAll wonderful things to be thankful for, Terri. No big plans for the weekend, but will leave with Virginia for my mom's on Monday.
ReplyDeleteHappy Memorial Day!
Even while in pain, I love your attitude! Suppose you can't use one of those Dr. Scholl's sole inserts in your right shoe to 'even things up' until the second surgery?
ReplyDeleteProbably, Myra. I lope along now like nothing matches so doubt it would be much different. Have to wait and see what the difference is. Just don't want to throw off my back!
DeleteThere are always so many things to be thankful for. I like your list this week. I know you are looking forward to getting those knee fixed. And a 2nd retirement?
ReplyDeleteDick has a three-day weekend. Very rare for him, because he usually works Saturday mornings. He plans to get lots of work done in our flower beds. We'll have little ones here most of the time. Hunter and Austin were with us overnight last night (Friday) and will be here till this evening. Then tomorrow Sam and the kids will arrive and stay till Monday. Then my two Pennsylvania sisters arrive next Friday for our annual weekend. And I somehow have to get my house cleaned well in those few days between! Yikes!
