Sharing some photos on this Friday! My first day of a nice three-day weekend for me! Hooray!
As usual, how about some more animal photos from the farm (Joe's client)!? LOL
Those baby ducks are nearly full size now!
My buddy, Doc!
This is Arya. See that green stuff all over her fur?
Horse poop. I watched her roll in it like it
was catnip for cats. She was shamed and had to be bathed.
I was told she does it at least once a week. Yuck!
And Coby just watched her roll. LOL
There is a new, very young, horse at the farm.
This is Linnie. She belongs to the owner's granddaughter.
She has a fly shield over her face to keep the flies away
from her eyes.
Pistol and Doc went back to the pasture after the carrots were gone.
Majesty was missing because she also belongs to the granddaughter
and "G" had her in the stall, trimming her mane.
(Linnie and Majesty both got some carrots too!)
A beautiful orchid at the farm.
I begged off yesterday's post because I wasn't feeling well. I have atrial fibrillation which is 98% of the time under control with my medicine. Last night, I had a really bad episode. Usually, I can kick it in 30 minutes to an hour. After three hours I told Joe we might have to go to the ER. My BP was high for me, but not dangerous. My oxygen level was 98-99. My heart rate was staying around 80 so not too bad (I've had as high as 140). My biggest concern was that extra meds didn't fix it and I started having something I can only describe as light-headed and like I was going to faint. It would go away and then come back. There was no pain. We got dressed - it was midnight - and Joe drove us to the hospital. We were just ready to turn into the ER entrance when my heart went back to a normal rhythm. I can feel it going in and out. I told him to drive around the block and wait to see if it stays normal. It did, so we headed for home. It has been fine since. I only had 3 hours of sleep, but went to work and at 8:30 Thursday evening (when I am writing this) it is still okay. The weirdest thing is that my knee was a whole lot better too. What's with that? God sometimes works in mysterious ways.
I'm still visiting those linked in the Medley. I'll get to everyone!! Promise!
Thanks for your visit!! Peace & hugs.
God bless!!

Praying for your good health, Terri. Take care.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I am so thankful you are ok and your heart went back into the normal rhythm. Jim has atrial fib also so I know exactly what you went through. God took care of you for sure including your knee!
ReplyDeleteIt's got to be scary when that happens. Take care of yourself!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, Terri, I am glad to know that you are feeling better, but I can imagine just how scary that was for you. Praying that it will stay "normal", and that your knee will also stay feeling better! Maybe God was giving you an overhaul on your whole body, and brought everything back up to "snuff" as they say...Praying so. Take care of yourself...I am hoping we can get together soon!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are better! What a scare!
ReplyDeleteArya reminds me of the book Harry The Dirty Dog!
Have a great weekend!
Wow that was very scary. I'm so glad that your heart went back to normal without a ER trip.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend!
Oh, goodness, Terri, that was quite the fright! So glad things got back to normal and you are feeling much better, even your knee. Yes, God is so very good, and He definitely does work in mysterious ways.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
I'm so glad you're feeling better, but that must have been very unsettling. I guess you have no idea what causes that to happen.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your 3-day weekend. It sounds like you need the rest.
That A Fib can be a bear...glad it settled down on its own.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness lady!!! I hope you call your doctor just to have it reported that it did that in case it happens again. That's scary!!!! Glad it finally "kicked in" though!!! Lifting prayers for you!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are better.... wishes that all remains the same...
ReplyDeleteCoby is smarter than Arya for sure. Glad your heart went back into rhythm!
ReplyDeleteOh my word, Terri. What a scare for the two of you! I've heard of A-Fib, but not actually WHAT it does. (I wonder if your neighbors wondered what was up, hearing you leave at that hour?!)
ReplyDeleteThat Arya cracks me up. I wonder if she doesn't enjoy it like some people do the warm mud baths.
I doubt our neighbors heard anything. The only ones still here have a bedroom away from our driveway. She didn't call me to see what happened, so I think we got out without anyone knowing. Arya LOVED rolling in that pile. Too funny. I yelled at her and she just ignored me.

ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are feeling better. I have an aunt who deals with that. It can really make you feel sluggish. Your horse rolling in the poop reminded me that my daughter's dog who is a real diva will do that. It is so out of character for her and it drives my daughter crazy. Fortunately she is small and quick to give a bath. The farm land is really pretty. We currently still have a piece of farm land in north Walton county. It is a 50 minute drive from us, but mowing the grass has worn us out. I think we have it sold and I will be glad. We are just too busy to keep it up. Lots of work, but yet so peaceful.
