We had a busy day at work but not as busy as we thought
it would be. There were eight patients scheduled but two (husband & wife)
canceled because their grandpa died and another because
her husband is in the hospital. Tough stuff for sure.
This is the view from the treatment room at work.
The little lake behind the office condo complex is very pretty.
When I got home, we turned around and headed out
for Reflections of Excellence where Teena takes great
care of our hair! This picture was taken on a previous visit.
From the Barber's we popped into Publix for a prescription
and for some SalonPas for Joe's back and my knee.
A HUGE Starbucks is being built in the parking lot
of our Publix. They are moving fast with it.
You probably can't see it in this photo, but Five Guys is
next to Starbucks.
Next on the list of errands was a visit to the VA for Joe's
audiology appointment. I waited in the car...
You can't tell but that speck is a pair of love bugs, doing their thing.
They are out early this year. We usually see them in late May.
And that speck in the sky is not a love bug. It's an airplane.
First I thought there were a lot of planes flying over, using
the same path to the airport. Then, duh, I figured out someone
was practicing take offs and landings. Same plane every 10 minutes or so.
Thankful for our Handicap parking tag. I got it four years ago
because of my knees. My orthopedic doc did the paperwork for me.
I'm hoping my new doctor will renew it for me. We really use it
more for Joe than for me these days, though I was happy to park closer
this past week with my pain flare-up. I don't always use it, by the way.
Just when it is really necessary.
Joe suggested subs for dinner on the way home so
he ran into Jersey Mike's and got an Italian sub that we shared
for dinner at home with our own chips and drinks. It was good!
Vinny was hoping for a piece of the sandwich. This is
him sitting in the kitchen window, right by the table.
And that's all I have for you today. We aren't going to the farm this week (Joe's client). They
are having some health issues and asked us to skip this week. I am happy to sleep in
on my day off but I will miss seeing the animals! Praying all will be well there.
Thanks for your visit!! Peace & hugs!! God bless!!

What a great and happy post, smiles...I am thinking there are alligators in that pond/lake, lol. I love Five Guys, we have to drive to Elmira though, sad to say...thanks for the smiles, Terri.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics today. The lake is a pretty view. Our Starbucks just moved to a new bigger building. They are busy all the time.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Great photos and story today, Terri!
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed weekend!
That picture of the lake is beautiful and so are the other pics. I love Jersey Mike's! Yummy. We recently got a handicap card for Jay and I am using it every time he is with me and actually getting out of the car. It isn't for me and I certainly wouldn't want to forfeit the thing by abuse. High Five to you, Terri! I also like Five Guys. Those love bugs don't seem to come to our area, but they do in East Texas.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't tell that Debbie had a FFF today.
Try some CBD ointment or oil for the pain in your knee and Joe's back. We use it for Jims back and it does help tremendously. Love the picture of the lake behind the office...nice scene. We have a handicap tab as well and am thankful for it as it sure saves on the old knees and back. Hope you have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteSalonPas is what I find the most relief from, too. Thank you for sharing your link. I don't know where my mind was this week. Hope you have a great weekend! 💜
ReplyDeleteSeems like we have a Starbucks on every corner, they are very popular here. Love bugs haven't shown up here yet, but they will. Good thing is they don't stay long! I have to ask, did Vinnie get a bite??? lol
ReplyDeleteYou should have warned us at the start that this post contained photos of a sexual nature. I am shocked. Those love bugs should get a room.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Oh, that Victor! (Giggling) I've not yet tried Jersey Mike's subs. But, thumb's up on the Salon Pas! Good for you on not taking unfair advantage of the handicap hanger. Tom ordered one for each of our vehicles - but when he's not with me I'm too embarrassed to use it. Just my luck, I'd go feigning a limp - then the universe would REALLY give me something to limp about.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the photos of your day. Poor Vinny - he just wanted a little!
ReplyDeleteWe have our daughters cat Oliver here for the weekend while they move and are enjoying having him around again.
Love Bugs. We remember them from the year we lived in Orlando. Didn't see any in Jacksonville. I suppose they'll show up here...
ReplyDeleteI love those random pictures of life. They really do tell the story. Love bugs ---show up here at the end of summer.
