Sunday Stealing...

Thought Provoking Questions, Part 2

From our Hostess:  Hi! I'm your host Bev Sykes of the blog "Funny the World". . Welcome to Sunday Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. (Past hosts include: Our first - Judd Corizan, Mr. L, Kwizgiver and Bud)  Cheers to all of us thieves!

These are from a site called Thought Provoking Questions..

1. If you had to teach something, what would you teach?  Art

2. What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?  I wanted to be an art teacher or architect. No regrets though.

3. Are you holding onto something that you need to let go of?  Ha!  Only about 50 pounds.

4. When you are 80-years-old, what will matter to you the most?  Faith, family, and friends.  The same things that matter now.

5. When is it time to stop calculating risk and rewards and just do what you know is right?  Right now. Why haven’t you done it already?

6. How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?  My knees feel like they are 90 years old, so there is that.

7. Would you break the law to save a loved one?  No.  Not worth it.  We have to be responsible for our choices, hard as that might be to live with and understand.

8. What makes you smile?  Joe makes me smile and so do cat and dog videos.  Oh, and grandchildren, and then there are horses and goats....

9. When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?  No, I don’t’ think so.  I don’t exaggerate things.

10. If you had the opportunity to get a message across to a large group of people, what would your message be?  Stop with the hate!  Just stop it.  All we need is love to put the world back on track.

11. If the average human lifespan was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?  I wouldn’t live it any differently.

12. What do we all have in common besides our genes that makes us human?  Love.  We all start out with the capacity to love, I believe.

13. If you could choose one book as a mandatory read for all high school students, which book would you choose?  The Bible.

14. Would you rather have less work or more work you actually enjoy doing?  At this time of my life, less work, please!!

15. What is important enough to go to war over?  I loathe war, but I would fight for this country and our constitutional rights. No question.

16. Which is worse, failing or never trying?  Never trying.

17. When was the last time you listened to the sound of your own breathing?  Every night.

18. What’s something you know you do differently than most people?  I put sugar on cottage cheese.

19. What does ‘The American Dream’ mean to you?  The freedom to follow your heart.

20. Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton?  Oh, come on.  Somewhere in between the two, please! LOL

As a very extremely conservative, I hope we can get back to the America we used to have years ago.

  5. Hi, Terri! I'm back for a spell, so thought I'd check in with you. Loved your answers, my friend, especially the one about how we should truly love others. Oh, and if you see my comments on mutual friends' posts Wednesday through Saturday, but not yours, it's because my phone makes your post HUMONGOUS, and I can't read it. :(
    Blessings!

  7. Wow. Honest, to-the-point and SO you … I can't decide which is my favorite. (Probably #7; that would be something with which I'd struggle.) I hope y'all are experiencing a sweet day!

  8. I love your answers to these questions. You are right on!! although I've never tried sugar on cottage cheese. I usually put pepper on mine... #7. Would depend upon the circumstances...If I had to speed through a red light to get my child to the hospital on time, I'd do it (and have done it). Thankfully, God was watching over us and got us there safely...
