Sunday Stealing...

Aesthetic themed List

From our Hostess:  Hi! I'm your host Bev Sykes of the blog "Funny the World". . Welcome to Sunday
Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. (Past hosts include: Our first - Judd Corizan, Mr. L, Kwizgiver and Bud)  Cheers to all of us thieves!

1. when did you last sing to yourself?  I don't sing to myself but I do sing along to songs on the radio in the car.

2. if a crystal ball could tell you the truth about anything, what would you want to know?  I really don't want to know of any predictions.  No thanks.

3. what is the greatest accomplishment of your life?  Gosh, I'm thinking about this for too long which means perhaps I still have something great to accomplish.  I can say 34 years of marriage to Joe or sticking with my job at the Museum for over 20 years or maintaining friendships through the years but all of those have other people involved so I sure can't claim them alone. I'll be interested to read what others say!

4. what is the first happy memory that comes to mind, recent or otherwise?  I have so many happy memories, recent and otherwise!

5. if you knew that in one year you would die suddenly, would you change anything about the way you are now living?  I would quit my PT job and spend more time with Joe and our family.  And I know we never know when we will be called 'home' but right now, the PT job is necessary.

6. do you feel you had a happy childhood?  I had a great and very happy childhood.  Blessed.

7. would you ever have a deep conversation with a stranger and open up to them?  Probably not, but one never knows, does one.  We kind of do that here in blogland, don't we?

8. what would you title the autobiography of your life so far?  Read This Book to Fall Asleep.
9. how do you feel about tattoos and piercings? explain.  I don't mind them if they haven't caused disfiguration.  I don't understand disfiguration, like this (from the internet):

10. do you wear a lot of makeup? why/why not?  I haven't worn make-up since I retired from the Museum two years ago.  Not a smidgeon.  It has been so freeing and sure saves me time getting ready in the mornings!

11. The world is listening. pick one sentence you would tell them.  Life is too short for hatred, so let's all get over it!!

12. who in the world would you most like to receive a letter from and what would you want it to say?  I got one from President Trump last week!  How can you top that?

3. do you have a desk/workspace and how is it organized/not organized?  My desk is my lap, my chair is my recliner and my mousepad is my chair's arm.

14. what’s your Starbucks order, and who would you trust to order for you, if anyone?  I don't go to Starbucks unless we are at the airport and that's the only place to get a cup of coffee.  Regular plain black coffee.  I find it hard to justify spending that much money for a cup of coffee.  I can get a free one at McDonald's!!

15. what is the most important thing to you in your life right now?  Joe and his health.

Wishing you a great Sunday and thanks for your visit today!! Thanks to Bev for this week's questions!
You can find her HERE!

Peace & hugs!!  God bless!!

  2. I don't understand the piercings either.
Right now with my son in Army boot camp I'd like to receive a letter from him.
    Have a nice day!

  3. Good morning! Your #8 made me laugh out loud! I'd say your 34-year love affair is a HUGE accomplishment! (Of course your museum career, as well.) Have yourselves a sweet day!

  4. A letter from President Trump? Now, that's exciting, Terri! Unlike you, though, in the make-up department - I feel naked without it - lol!
Keeping Joe and you in my prayers.
    Blessings!

  5. That is so cool you got a letter from President Trump! I would love to sit down with him and tell him some of my concerns...not that it would be anything new for him to hear, but I think he would try to do something about it. Loved your answers! Have a nice day!

  6. I enjoyed your answers. I did sunday stealing too but an earlier edition as the one about death troubled me. I think its wonderful you got a letter from the President! And the piercings are a form of self mutilation. I think some people are very troubled. But, just my opinion.

  7. Loved your answers...so appropro. (I must have spelled that wrong, but too lazy to check it). I loved your letter from Pres. Trump! That is so cool, and thank you for writing to him to encourage him. What a great idea. I sing a lot...esp. now that we are in the choir. I like to listen to music here on the computer while I write and even tho I have on earphones so no one else hears what I hear, I still sing out loud. Drives my family crazy sometimes...too bad. I do not like piercings/tattoos. So thankful my sons have never done that. I don't mind small tattoos discreetly done, but can't stand to see them covering people's whole bodies. So sad. Especially as they age...ugly. I don't drink coffee, so Starbucks doesn't appeal to me at all. A conversation with a stranger? Well I've done that often...on airplanes, sometimes in stores/restaurants, wherever the opportunity arises, but I am careful that I am in a safe place. Here in blogland I don't feel like we are strangers at all. There may be some "strange people" out there, however, and God gives me wisdom when not to speak. Praying for you and Joe. May God bring healing to him especially, and also keep you healthy and strong. No make up? Wow! You are amazing. I'm a little too pale faces w/o it, and just need that extra oomph. My hair is another story. Since retiring, the perm helps keep me from messing with my hair so much. That is very freeing for me.... Blessings dear friend.
