Tickled Tuesday...

I am not so tickled by the weather turning cold again!  My sweet Vinny boy has been helping me stay warm while watching TV in the evenings, which does 'tickle' me...

I was also tickled to still be needed at the Museum.  My former boss called me yesterday morning to come in and help with some payroll tasks (W2s and 1099s).  It is always fun to see my co-workers and get hugs and smiles.  I got the work done in about two hours.

On the way home, I took a ride around Lake Morton because I really miss seeing all the birds and waterfowl.  I even found a couple of folks sitting out in the cold, enjoying the views. So pretty!

Today is laundry day.  Not so tickled about that, but it has to be done and my calendar is clear!

I can't stop without leaving you a couple of silly "cold" jokes for Tickled Tuesday...

Q: What do you get from sitting on the ice too long?
A: Polaroids!

Q: What's an ig?
A: A snow house without a loo!

Thanks for your visit!  What are you tickled about today?  Peace & hugs!

  1. I just bet the folks at the museum were as happy to see you, as you were to see them. Love the jokes....my first smile of the day!

  2. Feeling needed and wanted is such a blessing to the human spirit. I'm sure the museum did need you to get through preparation for taxes.

Lake Morton looks wonderful. There are some really interesting birds here in Florida. The Cormorants, who appear to be airing out their armpits as they stand for long periods with their wings spread out -- they put a smile on my face.

Have a good day with the laundry. Again, there's nothing quite like feeling needed, and a pile of laundry does it! Ha-ha!

  4. It is cold again here too. We are running the taps at night again and it may snow Wednesday. Pretty sure I will get polaroids! ;-)

  6. Snow is falling here as I type this and any Southerner is tickled when it snows but it causes so many problems that I am of two minds about it these days.

  7. It tickled me to read your post! Cute jokes! Hope we don't freeze ours or loose our loo. We have snow forecast to begin at 1 pm today. We shall see. I don't mind the snow but detest the frozen roads that usually accompany them.

  9. Ha, ha, ha! Loved the jokes, Terri, especially since we are in the "deep freeze" here in GA. Lovely photos, too!

It's great that you get called into the museum occasionally. Just enough to see everyone and then be out enjoying yourself again!
