Rain, rain, rain. We had yet another gully-washer last night. We need it, but a couple of dry days in a row would be nice.
Joe found an app for our Android phones called Duo which allows us to make video calls. We spoke with our son Joey and Darlene and grandson Steve last night! It's fun to see their faces! You who have i-phones won't think it's a big deal, but Android users might enjoy this app. It's free.

Ha Ha! "A Meowtain"...good one! I don't have cats, and I don't even have a smart phone...still living in the dark ages with a flip phone that doesn't even have a camera! Out where we live the cell phone is pretty useless until we travel quite a ways...and since we don't do much traveling, I haven't been able to justify a new phone yet...but I'm thinking about it and might hint to hubby that I would like that for either our anniversary (Aug) or my birthday (Sept). Then, if we could ever reach our grandson on the phone, we might even be able to see his face! He lives in Maine, and is almost 18...and very hard to reach...busy boy. I love a new purse!! There were some Beall's stores here at one time and I loved shopping there. I think they are affiliated with Palais Royal, another place I love to shop.
