Friday Foto Friends Link-up....

Linking up with Debbie, over at Breathing In Grace, for Friday Foto Friends!
Thanks for hosting us, Deb!!

It has been an uneventful week, at work and at home, which has made the time seem to drag. My goodness, this week has been long.  I know I shouldn't be wishing my life away, but I really think I could take the whole month off and not be missed at work. I'm all caught up, files have been cleaned out and I am just waiting for my short week, next week, to begin.  I have Thursday and Friday off to start my birthday weekend! It's anticipation that has made this week seem so long, I guess.

I do have a few new photos to share for this week's link-up!  You can click on them to make them bigger for more detail if you wish.

This is the house across the street from us. They go all out with their decorating! I think they have added more since I took this photo a couple of nights ago.

This was taken yesterday, as I left work. It is a shot of our lovely Lake Morton, which is the bird sanctuary.  It was a beautiful day, as you can see. Our high was 83°.

The white pelicans are back and put on quite a show for us. They really are beautiful creatures!

There were a bunch of Ibis all grouped together.

That's all I have to share with you today. We are still working on Christmas decorations at home. Photos will come. I don't do that much, but we are decorating more this year than we did last.

Thanks for your visit!  Peace & hugs!

  5. Mr D and I love to go Sylvan Beach, which is just a few blocks from our home, and watch the pelicans. We saw one the other day that didn't like it because a boat was trying to get to the boat ramp. They are enjoyable to watch. We don't see any ibis, but there are lots of sea gulls! Enjoyed your pictures, hope you and Joe have a great week-end.

  6. Pelicans fascinate me. I've only seen them up close once and that was years ago in Tarpon Springs. Would love to see that many at once!

  9. Love the pelicans and ibis pictures! So many all at once! Beautiful! The house across the street is quite colorful and lovely. Does it keep you awake at night? :) It really is pretty. I love this wonderful time of the year. Enjoy your extra time off next week for your birthday! Is this the Big One? So you can retire? Enjoy!!

  10. Those ibis are so cool!
After enjoying so many 4-day work weeks lately, I confessed to DH just a few hours ago, "This has been such a long work week." January's going to come as a rude surprise, for sure!

Birthday goings on? Wheeeee! :) I love celebrating birthdays ...others, that is!. (LOL.) My youngest g-daughter turns 19 tomorrow, and my son's 47 on the 12th.

  12. Those pictures of the pelicans....just WOW!! And, your view from where you work....I know you'll miss it, but will be happy to retire! I had to chuckle at the picture of the house all lit up for CHRISTmas. My father-in-law LOVED CHRISTmas and he went ALL out in decorating. His next door neighbor used to say that he didn't have to turn on any lights at his house at night, he just let the light from my in-laws house shine into his. Looks like that's something you can do, too....open up the curtains and let the light shine in. ;-) THANKS so much for sharing....my precious blogging friends mean the world to me!

  13. This week has flown by for us. We've been so busy lately. There were preparations for the parade, and then we where actually in it last night. Then there's work around here. And on, and on. Now I'm doing laundry and thinking about hopping in the truck with the dogs and go get an ice cream cone. They get a free "pup cup" at the local Dairy Queen. So the ride is something they can enjoy too. Anyway, I'm ready for a boring week. *giggle* ~:)
