Linking up with Rebecca Jo, at Knit by God's Hand, for Thankful Thursday. Join us HERE!!
First on the list is I am thankful to have today off from work!! Starting my birthday weekend early! I will be 65 years old on Sunday. How did I get to be this old so fast?! Whooooshhhh.....
I am thankful for friends who are picking us up for a trip to St. Pete and Mazzaro's Italian Market! I don't have to drive and that's a great gift!!
Thankful for my husband. Wow. He puts up with me!! So blessed!
We met with our Realtor, Cannon Kirby with S & D Real Estate, last night. I used to work with his wife at the Museum. She was our Education Assistant (years ago). They are such good people who are good Christians and are raising a great family now. Cannon is also an artist and we have one of his paintings hanging in our living room. Good connections and someone we know we can trust. He was happy with the house and is going to start working up some comps. We told him we don't want a sign until mid-January (or end of), but if he gets a client that will love our house, we'll make it work. Funny thing - his parents live in one of the communities we are interested in. Yep....
Tomorrow brings another celebration. More about that later!! Until then, be thankful every day!!
Thanks for your visit! Peace & hugs!!

Our house goes on the market in mid February. Good luck on your new home search!
ReplyDeleteExciting but a bit scary too I imagine. The older I get the harder change is for me but I am working on that!! Looking forward to seeing your new house too!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have a great weekend planned. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteIt's a depressed economy but God can make things work inspite of everything else. Just keep praying, and we will too, that it all goes well. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." [Philippians 4:13 NKJV] Be sure to let us know He answers prayer so we may rejoice with you. ~:)
