Sunday Stealing time and I'm late, but we are back from our weekend in Naples. More about that tomorrow! Thanks to Bud and The Gal for this weeks questions!!
The Here-to-Serve 16 Questions
Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. You may have heard the expression, “honor among thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from. We also provide a link to the victim's meme in our "Previous Victims" widget. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from recently asked questions from a previously post.
We didn't find this gem. The Gal Herself did. She seems to have a sixth sense when I hit a wall with this. Gal found a blogger called“Lana G” who often played Know & Tell Friday. Back in its day it had a decent following. I appreciated this assist. I want to keep this going until I figure out what's next. I'm not being cryptic. Or am I? Foreshadowing? Thanks, Gal.
Sunday Stealing: The Here-to-Serve 16 Questions
1. Which is worse? Being gossiped about or being lied to? Lied to. I don't lie and I abhor liars. Once my trust in someone is gone, it's gone and the quickest way for that to happen is to lie to me.
2. What is your favorite "Starbucks" drink? I don't "do" Starbucks. Or if you have better taste, Dunkin’Donuts? I do go to Dunkin now and then. Just plain black coffee, please.
3. Name an embarrassing moment (Make it good). I've answered this one before...the hanging booger during a job interview.
3. Name an embarrassing moment (Make it good). I've answered this one before...the hanging booger during a job interview.
4. Is it hard for you to ask someone to forgive you when you have wronged them? I try not to "wrong" someone, but if it does happen, please know it was not intentional. I would certainly beg forgiveness.
4. Who do you wish you could meet? I would be honored to shake Donald Trump's hand.
5. Best food comes from which country? Italy (of course!).
6. Do you like small talk, or deep conversations? Small talk bores me after awhile. Deep conversations are good if I am interested! Ha!
7. Who do you most want to encourage this year? My boss. She has some heavy decisions to make over these next months and I hope I can encourage and help to make it easier.
8. If those who know you best gave you one piece of advice, what would they say? Stay true to myself and protect my integrity. Would they be right? Yes. What will you do about it? Follow that advice as best I can.
9. How often do you get real sick? "Real" sick, thankfully not that often, but I do end up with a cold a couple of times a year.
10. Are you a person who has a whole lot of acquaintances, or just a few very close friends? I have lots of acquaintances AND some very special close friends.
11. If you could cure a disease, or heal a sickness, which one would you choose? Cancer.
12. What was your favorite book of 2016? Oh gosh, I don't even remember all the books I read this year and one doesn't stand out from another. I'm reading #23 of the Stephanie Plum books and they are always fun, but I couldn't say it is a favorite.
13. What was one of your biggest accomplishments in 2016? This year will always be the year of Joe's strokes. We didn't really accomplish much but did have a successful rehab for him.
14. If you could be guaranteed a spot on the reality show "Survivor", would you go? Ha! Not on your life (or mine!).
15. Which is worse? Shopping for Jeans or a bathing suit? Definitely a bathing suit.
16. How old was your oldest living relative (still living or in the past)? [editor's note: I haven't got a clue as to what this question means either. That's why it's perfect...] My grandma, who just died last month, was 97. She beat out my other grandma by five years and my grandpa by seven years.
Thanks for your visit!! Peace & hugs.

My waistline is testimony to the fact that I enjoy most ethnic foods. I like Italian, Mexican, Thai, and on and on.
ReplyDeleteThat said, I don't shop for bathing suits anymore. *tee hee*
Hope y'all have a blessed evening. ~:)
Great answers. I think that we had a couple answers in common! Black coffee at DD...Yay!
ReplyDeleteI love the show Survivor but would be the first one voted out! And actually, I'd never agree to go. :)
ReplyDeleteBathing suit shopping is a nightmare!
Glad you made back safe n' sound! (It's a curse, but I can't help worrying about all my 'chicks' when they go missing. LOL!)
ReplyDeleteI don't recall anyone ever putting the thought in my head, but for some reason I consider Starbucks 'elitist' and avoid them like the plague. Mr. Trump? You bet-cha! I've admired him for LOTS of years now.
Never having watched Survivor, I can only imagine myself being dragged kicking and screaming.
... and, for what it's worth, I'd rather have a root canal than try on bathing suits. Phew!
Home sweet home! Fun going, but good to get back home and ready for the week ahead. Good answers and most are similar to the way I feel....not on Survivor on your life! No more bathing suits for this old gal!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're safe and sound back home. Great answers....a lot exactly how I would have answered, too. I don't think I'd last a day on Survivor! Hope you have a great week.
