Thanks so much for joining us again at Saturday: 9. As always, feel free to come back, see who has participated and comment on their posts. In fact sometimes, if you want to read & comment on everyone's responses, you might want to check back again tomorrow. But it is not a rule. We haven’t any rules here. Join us on next Saturday for another version of Saturday: 9, "Just A Silly Meme on a Saturday!" Enjoy your weekend.
I took yesterday off from work because I am still coughing and blowing. Each day gets a little better and being able to sleep through the night really helps. Hopefully having a nice long weekend will help me get over this stupid cold and I'll be ready for work on Tuesday.
My BFF Elaine and her husband, Jim, started a garden project at their church to help feed those in need. Their local newspaper featured them in an article!! Here is the link if you would like to read about this gardening movement that is catching on all over.....

#4-We have no plans to participate in any outside activities for a few days, it is so hot and humid here...I was suffering from a heat related issue yesterday, now Liam (son) is down...so, we plan on staying in.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy the memes, Terri. Hope you feel better.
I do hope you feel better. Roasting marshmellows ... It's been a while here too. So many memories...
ReplyDeleteWe don't have a grill. We always plan on buying one every summer but we never get around to it. lol
ReplyDeleteFeel better
Aw, such a nice article about Elaine. Glad you're doing better. Hope it goes completely away soon. Have a nice (long) weekend, Sweetie. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. In thinking about it though, I don't think we have any grass on our church property. Parking lot and little parks for the kiddos. I'm sorry you are still not up to par. Rest this weekend. I rode a bike just last year. I did great riding it, but when I tried to get off, I fell. 😆
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you are still feeling crummy! Praying tomorrow will be a better day.
ReplyDeleteNice article! There is a church near us that does something very similar.
