Tuesday Tidbit....

Just one 'tidbit' today. Work is crazy this week. We are interviewing for a part time position in our Education office and have seven qualified applicants. Did two today, have two tomorrow and three on Wednesday.  All of that along with payroll, audit prep, a grant report to do financials for, and I am off on Friday.  It's all good, but I'm old and just thinking about it makes me tired!!  Have I mentioned that I am ready to retire?

I found this on Facebook and it spoke to me.

Thanks for stopping by!  I appreciate your visit and comments!  Peace & hugs!!

  1. I know about days like that, but I don't know if retiring yet is in my cards. I get bored easily and working helps me feel young at heart and having a purpose. Especially now with my girls all grown up. Hang in there Terri, Friday will be here soon enough.

  3. Saying a little prayer that you don't tire out too much this week, especially mentally....of course, that's just what it does to me thinking about all you have to do!!! ;-) HOPE you have an awesome day off Friday!

  6. You remind me of Ed during his last couple of years of working. Ha! He looked forward less and less to Mondays, and looked forward more and more to Fridays :) Have a great day!

  7. You are a busy bee for sure, and I do know how it feels to want to retire, and when the time is exactly right, you will and never look back. Hope you can get all or at least most of everything done today.

  8. That's a good one!
Life has been crazy busy at my work too. I spent 13 hours there on Sunday, 15 yesterday and am so glad to have today off!

  11. Do you find interviewing stressful? I've never interviewed anyone but I can imagine that it is. Love the FB picture!

    1. Gina, I don't find interviewing stressful. We try to make it fun while still getting to know the person and their skill set. Now if I'm the one being interviewed, I can get a little stressed. Haven't had to do that for 18 years and hope I never have to again! :)

  13. What a great poster, Terri. Sounds like work has more than its fair share of stress. Hope the new employee choice works out well for everyone and that the audit will give no additional problems. I know it will be a relief when that's over. Blessings on you, friend.

  14. I recognize your quote about prayer from Dr. Charles Stanley's 30 Life Principles. Love the man and the messages he brings to us every Sunday morning on TV while we are eating breakfast. The Lord bless you in this hectic week!
