Thankful Thursday
I am thankful it is Thursday and closer to the weekend, though we have another busy weekend coming up. We are going down to Naples Saturday morning, so we can attend a birthday party. More about that on Sunday, though.
I am having a good day at work, catching up on piles of things I've been putting off. Feels good! Thankful about that too!
I finished a book, and have started the second in the series, called "Outlanders" by Diana Gabaldon. It is going to be a TV series on the Starz Network, starting in January (I believe). I am SO into the characters and their story!!! Joe has agreed that we can subscribe to Starz, because he is interested, since I've been telling him how good the books are! Have you read any of the Outlander series? It is about time travel. An English WWII nurse ends up going back to the 1700s, in Scotland....sounds crazy, but the history is very interesting and the storyline quite engaging. I'm thankful to be reading the books and that I will be able to watch the TV series, too!
I am thankful for family. I am especially and always thankful for family.
This photo made me laugh this morning. I am thankful for cute photos that come my way, crazy cat lady that I am!!
Thanks for stopping by!! Happy Friday Eve! Peace, love & hugs.

Am not familiar with those books, but will look into them. Glad you are getting things caught up at work. Loved the cat picture this morning...made me start my day with a smile.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your visit on my blog this morning. Thanks for stopping by :)
ReplyDeleteI agree, Kenmore is the best washer, by far, but they are manufactured by Whirlpool (as is almost every other brand, I've discovered--even Maytag, believe it or not!)
I'm a bit of a crazy cat woman myself, and currently have a dozen outside kitties who were adopted from our local animal shelter, with the exception of two kitties who 'adopted' us. All have been spayed or neutered, except for our newest addition, who is still too young (and also a bit feral).
That series sounds really interesting! I'll have to check into it. Thanks! And the kitties are adorable, aren't they. :-)
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of that series - sounds good! I love cute kitty pictures too.
ReplyDeleteThe show sounds interesting. I will have to see if we get that channel. Pic makes me smile lol
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of the Outlanders but I'll be sure to check it out. We don't get Starz either, but hubby won't add to our subscriptions because he has the HD channels with all the hunting, fishing, and outdoor channel, so he's happy.
ReplyDeleteI love that picture of the cats. So cute. I remember my kitty, years ago, would claim any box or paper bag I'd throw on the floor and I didn't have the heart to take it away from him.
Hope you have a good Friday. ♥
I have always wanted to go to Naples. I hear it is beautiful. Love your cats. sandie
ReplyDeleteI love Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series! I started reading them when I was in a mom's book club when my kids were younger. I'd love to see the TV series but we don't get that network. Enjoy reading! They're long books.
