Over the hump....

I had a good day at work.  Got home, and we needed to run to Sam's Club for cat litter, laundry soap and a few other things.  We always have a list, and then find at least that many more things to buy....do you do that, too?

Valentine's Day has never been a big deal holiday for us.  We do cards for each other, and Joe asked me to go out for dinner (but we do that a lot, anyway).  It's nice to make plans ahead for a special day, though.

We have been talking about going over to Tarpon Springs this weekend.  Joe always wants to get some of Hella's special bread - especially at Easter time.  That will be fun.

Nothing else scheduled or going on.  Right now, we are getting ready to watch the movie "Flight" with Denzel Washington.  Has me thinking about my blogging friend, Chuck.  I'd be interested to know if an airline pilot saw the movie...???

This is my beautiful niece, Kelly, who will graduate from high school this May.  They sure don't do graduation photos like they used to!!  (It's a picture of the picture - not good quality, but there she is!)

Wishing everyone a good Thursday!  Peace, love & hugs.

  2. We don't do anything for Valentines Day...never did. Jim is not very romantic, but does the day to day things quite well...lol Your niece is beautiful and yes, graduation pictures are totally different than "back in the day"! Have a good day and evening with your sweetie.

  3. I remember when I first came to blogger, Kris, I think, saying exactly the same thing about senior pics. Enjoy your almost Friday day!

  4. Kelly is very pretty. I know what you mean about the kid's photos. I personally like 'some' of the poses the photographers do... emphasis on 'some'.
That movie is on my list of "want to see". I also wonder what Chuck would say about it.

  5. We don't do anything special for Valentines Day either. I did enjoy looking at the bouquets brought to the village for today, but didn't want to splurge my money on them. I am off to a rally protesting violence against women.

  6. Enjoy your dinner sweet Terri. Your niece is beautiful. I am wanting to see that movie too. My nephew is a air traffic controller and I am anxious to see what he has to say about the movie if he ever sees it. Hugs
