If it is Tuesday, I must have ten thoughts in my head.... let's see.....
- My friend, Brenda, posted a Christmas challenge today that I am going to try (once a week, try a recipe from Pinterest that I might want to use during the holidays, then post about it).
- I got my financial reports all written, and September numbers delivered to all the departments!
- Joe and I are almost caught up on Season One of Revenge - thanks to Linda for recommending the show. We are hooked.
- I have no idea who will go home tonight, on Dancing With The Stars. Kirstie and Bristol are the least accomplished, but they both have a big fan base. I have no idea.
- I'm thinking about grilling steak for dinner tonight.
- I'm trying to be good about counting WW points, but I am just not motivated. I lose, and I gain. I lose and I gain. Maybe I should concentrate on stabilizing/maintaining.
- We have our reservations for Thanksgiving dinner at Eaglebrook Country Club. I'm not cooking this year. It actually feels good.
- Claire has Harry's obituary in the newspaper today. I am sorry I didn't have the chance to know him. He was 21 years older than Claire! He was an amazing and scholarly man: Harry's Obit
- I haven't spoken with either of my two sisters in months. I think I need to pick up the phone (we are on FB).
- Our old sofa is sitting by the curb, waiting for the City to come by for it. It poured rain last night - a heavy soggy mess, now. Hope they came today. I really hate having stuff piled out there - doesn't look nice at all.

LOL...it is hard sometimes to come up with 10...you did super! Oh I am so glad you like Revenge...it never ceases to entertain me and sometimes hard to figure out even at the end of one episode.
ReplyDeleteWill Dancing be on with the debates tonight? I am headed to church and will see what I can find when I get home.
1. I'm doing the challenge too:-)
ReplyDelete2. Congrats on getting the reports finished!
3. What is Revenge about?
4. How many contestants are they down to know on DWTS?
5. Sounds yummy!
6. Totally understand the feeling of getting frustrated with a diet program.
7. No cooking on Thanksgiving also means no clean up afterwards..enjoy!
8. I'm off to read Harry's Obit...
9. I have a friend who I can only go a couple of months without talking to. Enjoy your conversations with your sisters:-)
10. Hope it was gone when you got home! Have a wonderful Tuesday evening, Terri!
Kris, Revenge is about a daughter getting revenge for her father's death at the hands of some pretty ruthless (very rich) people. Season one is on Netflix (22 episodes!) and we are almost done with it. We've been DVRing season 2. We really got hooked on it. Dancing has 10 left, I think. The sofa is still on the curb. They said Tuesday or Wednesday, so hopefully it will be gone tomorrow!
DeleteI will have to check out Revenge! We love finding shows that already have a season available.
DeleteCan't wait to see and hear about the Pinterest recipes.
ReplyDeleteNo cooking on Thanksgiving sounds good to me. I am hoping my MIL cooks this year.
Hopefully your old sofa will be gone tomorrow.
I'm going to start building up my recipe file again, and, of course, I'll be making goodies as gifts for Christmas. For Thanksgiving, we'll be celebrating my birthday in a Greek restaurant.
ReplyDeleteYou did good! Hope you are enjoying today and it is a great one for you. Sunshine here I love it!
ReplyDeleteI have so much stuff on Pinterest and I don't know if I've tried anything but the dishwasher cleaning idea.
