My day started wet, and it is still wet.
First thing this morning, I had a webinar meeting with the software people. I was nice, but I am still not happy.
There were 10 of us attending a luncheon at our Lakeland Center (convention center) today, hosted by the Downtown Lakeland Partnership. It was their annual meeting, and awards were given and there was a presentation by a company renovating part of our downtown into loft apartments and town homes. They will be lovely, but out of my price range. It would be nice to live in the downtown historic district, which is also where I work. It will be nice to see the development happen, and more people living downtown. Lunch was actually decent - chicken (of course) and asparagus. I ate no bread and was not tempted by dessert, so I could count my WW points and feel okay about it.

One of my co-workers is getting married this weekend. The wedding is in Virginia, so none of us can attend, but we are planning a pot-luck lunch for when they return next week. Their honeymoon is in the Spring, so I think he will be here on Monday. Crazy!! Honeymoons are sometimes just a vacation these days, if you know what I mean.
I wanted to go grocery shopping tonight, but may rethink that if it is still raining.
Tomorrow morning, I am meeting Kris for breakfast! So happy she is making time to come this way, from Orlando. I appreciate it, especially since it is taking time out from her vacation and 25th wedding anniversary celebration trip. Thanks, Kris!! Very special.

It's nice that you can all get together to celebrate their marriage afterward.
I will get back to the video but I wanted to stop in and wish you a great weekend. Yesterday was sunnier. It was so nice after the previous rain. It is suppose to get up to 82 today and in the 50s this weekend and rainy ugh..

We've been getting lots of rainy days here too. If it's not raining it's been cloudy and looking like it's gonna rain. Have fun visiting your friend!

It is so sad that so many honeymoons are just vacations, as you said. People just don't understand the importance of intimacy or only engaging in it within marriage.
