There isn't a linky, and there aren't any rules.
Check out the dress and pick the shoes you like best for the look!
It is all for fun and just a whimsical thing!
The photos are from The Storybook of Dreams and Beauty!
This is a vintage look, for sure. The color won't be a favorite for many, but I do love the dress, if not the shoes. Count down 1-2-3 and tell us which ones she should choose for this summer look! It's all for fun and just a whimsical thing!
My thoughts: Yellow is a favorite color of mine, even if I only have a couple of yellow things in my closet. It's not complimentary with my fair complexion, but I do love it. I will choose #3 this week. What are your thoughts?
Peace and Hugs!
Esther 1:6 There were hangings of white, green, and blue material, fastened with cords of fine linen and purple to silver rings and marble pillars. The couches were of gold and silver, on a pavement of red, white, yellow, and black marble.

What a lovely dress! I probably wouldn't wear it either, as yellow is just too pale for me unless I have a summer "tan", which, for me, is lots of freckles all running together to look like a tan from a distance! LOL. And I don't get out in the sun that much anymore to even get the freckles! And yes, shoe #3 is the only one that would even remotely work, but I still couldn't wear them. Oh, I love that passage from Esther that you shared. I never noticed that one before! That must have been a very colorful room! Very beautiful I am sure! I love the book of Esther!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely summer day!
The dress 👗 is elegant and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty dress. I would pick 3, but I would go with a flat sandal though. lol--wishing you a beautiful day Terri.
ReplyDeleteThe dress reminds me of something Lucy would wear on I Love Lucy. I'm going with #3, but would prefer something with less heel. Have a pleasant day, Terri.
ReplyDeleteNo yellow for me, but I like the style. I'd fall off all those shoes but would choose #3!
ReplyDeleteThe dress is gorgeous. The yellow is lovely, and I like #2, although I could never wear them. When I was a teenager, I had size 7 1/2 feet, now after years and years of having babies, they're 8 1/2 wide...so it's Birkenstocks for me. I do adore them though, the pretty shoes...
ReplyDelete#3 is perfect for the dress!
ReplyDeleteThat dress is beautiful but yellow is not for me, where I live if I wear yellow out it attracts the tiny little black flies! All of the shoes are beautiful, I do like the simplicity of the first one's.
ReplyDeleteI agree, #3 is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteYellow may be my favorite color ... but (alas!) I can't wear it. Of these choices I'm most drawn to #3; I think the ankle strap matches her belt.
ReplyDeleteThe dress does have an old fashion look to it and the shoes are more today's style. That made it a little hard for me to decide, but, finally I chose #3. Always fun☺♥
ReplyDeleteI love the color yellow, but I can't wear it, either. I just look washed out! I'll go with #3, Terri.
ReplyDeletenot a color I can wear but it does look like it is right our of an old movie with Grace Kelly!
ReplyDeleteShoe #3
I absolutely love the dress and color! I couldn't wear that wonderful summery color because of having olive undertones but I do love it. As for the shoes, #3 would go nicely with the dress but maybe something with alower heel or even a flat strappy sandal.
ReplyDeleteGrace & Peace,
Pam
I look absolutely horrible in yellow. However, I think this dress is just wonderful. I love it. I pick shoe number 3!
ReplyDeleteI'm immediately reminded of Lucy (Lucille Ball)!! I can just see her wearing that dress. I can't decide on which shoes. I love #1 and #3.
