There isn't a linky, and there aren't any rules.
Check out the dress and pick the shoes you like best.
It's all for fun and just a whimsical thing!
Photos are from The Storybook of Dreams & Beauty.
It is June, and I haven't shared a wedding gown in a long time. This one is a classic look. Count down on the shoes, 1-2-3, and tell us which one you like best for the dress. It's all for fun and just a whimsical thing!
My thoughts: The gown is a classic look and is (maybe) more suitable for an older bride. As for the shoes - definitely not for an older bride! Yikes! I'm going with the classic pump, #1. What are your thoughts? (Mine includes a shoe with a 1-inch heel!!)
Peace and Hugs!
Love divine, all loves excelling,
Joy of Heav'n to Earth come down,
Fix in us thy humble dwelling,
All thy faithful mercies crown;
Jesus, thou art all compassion,
Pure, unbounded love thou art;
Visit us with thy salvation,
Enter ev'ry trembling heart.

Hi Terri, I love the dress! I have never liked or felt comfortable in high heel shoes, so this would not be something for me...however, I am speaking for myself. I have always preferred classic! High heel shoes definitely look good but they can be difficult and uncomfortable to wear. As far as the gown goes, it is beautiful and elegant. Peace and hugs to you, dear friend. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the dress, and I think it would look lovely on a younger bride as well. I prefer to see wedding gowns that are more modest than what we see out there these days! As for the shoes, #1 in a 1" heel for me too! LOL. I'd be so afraid of turning my ankle as I walked down the aisle in those high heels! Wouldn't that be a sight??? LOL. Lovely bride! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI am going with #1 because they are classy looking. I would have to carry them down the aisle instead of a bouquet and put them on at the altar. LOL
ReplyDeleteI choose #1 too, simple and elegant, but much too high for me. My daughter Abigail just got married, she loves bright colors, and her new husband does too...his favorite is purple...so she wore lavender sneakers for her wedding day. You couldn't really see them under her beautiful dress. But it was SO HER!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that!! And sneakers make more sense to me!! I hope there are photos!!
DeletePretty dress! I would fall in those heels though. Yes, #1 for me too.
ReplyDeleteI think the bow on #2 complements that on the gown's waist. But ya, I'd keep a pair of sneakers at the ready once photos are taken.
ReplyDeleteI love the dress but as always think the shoes too high! #1
ReplyDeleteThat dress is so elegant, Terri. I think all the heels are way too high, but I'll choose #1.
ReplyDeleteI like #1. I tend to go for the simpler and more understated shoes! She's young enough to wear those heels. Lol
ReplyDeleteLOVE the dress! As for the shoes, I'd go with #1 since the length of the dress hides any ornamentation on the shoes. And like you, Terri, I'd have a 1-inch heel.
ReplyDeleteI tis wedding time. I have to be honest - the dress looks a little tight and stiff. I would pick shoe number 1.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is so elegant! I'm torn on the shoes, not that I could manage to even stand in any of them. It would either be shoe #2 or #3 for me.
ReplyDeleteI think #1 is a great choice - though I do love #2, also! Those heels are so high!
