I will be finishing the painting project today! I've done a little each day this week. My "master" bathroom is two smaller rooms. The back part has the walk-in shower, the toilet, and the linen closet. It is done, including a second coat. The front part has two vanities. I used yesterday to take everything off the walls and got it all taped up and ready for today. I will be so happy to be done with it!!
It's hard to take photos in small spaces, but here are a couple I took...
We (the Mas Verde Dinner Group) went out to eat last night at Reececliff. It was a fun evening, as always. Reececliff is a local diner that has been in the same location for over 80 years. A Lakeland fixture. I didn't take any new photos, but here is an older one...
That's really all I've got. It's been that kind of week. Next week is a doctor's appointment, and on Friday, I am having lunch with my son Jeff's partner, Kali, and her family. Her folks live in Clermont, about an hour north of me, and she will be down visiting. We weren't able to get together at Christmas when she was here, but I've spoken with her mom, and I think Friday will work. I'm looking forward to it. I love Kali, and her folks are great.

Good for you for getting so far on the painting. I know getting it done will be a relief. Good idea to do it in sections!
ReplyDeleteHave fun with Kali and her parents.
Painting can be a bit of a slog in the bathroom but you are close!
ReplyDeleteYour paint job looks great, Terri! Enjoy the weekend!
ReplyDeletePeace and Hugs back to you Terri! Hope you're having a good day.☺♥
ReplyDeleteThat's such a serene shade, Terri! Looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI do love restaurants with such staying power. Someone's doing something right!
Great paint job, Terri. Here in Montreal we have a restaurant called Nick's that is over 100 years old. Two others....Snowdon Deli, which started in 1946 and Chalet Barbq, which opened in 1944 are all still here and thriving. I am glad to see you have one like this as well.
ReplyDeleteI admire you taking on the job of painting Terri. I could not do it. I like the gray too.
ReplyDeleteOh, I know you will love having your bathroom all freshly painted and DONE! So proud of you! And I love that you will be able to visit with Kali and her family. I know you will all have a great time. Enjoy your time together and don't over do the painting and get too tired to move! LOL. (((hugs)))
ReplyDeleteI love the paint color and you are doing a great job! I know you are ready to pack away those paint brushes/rollers!! A lunch with Kali and her family is something to look forward to, I'm sure!!
